  • Its not really a bug. Vehicles get ALWAYS replaced, when they are getting "too old". But what "too old" really means is set by this option. 100% means its the value set in the mdl. 25% means its this value divided by 4 and so on. So you set 25% and vehicles are treated as "too old" when they reach a 4th of the set value from the mdl. Have you an active replacement setting, they will get automatically replaced. If not - not ^^

  • DarkMo is completely right. The variable "to old" is defined by the engine as "Lebensdauer"(Just don't know the English word for it)*the factor 0.25,1.0,1.25 or 1,5. And this factor can be chosen in the line Replacement. So 25 means 0.25, 100 1.0 and so on. So you can easily find out when the game gives you this notification. For example, if a train has a "Lebensdauer" of 50 Years, and you have chosen 25% in the line replacement, the train will declared as "too old" after 50*0.25 Years, means after 12,5.
I hope I could help you!

  • I understand what you guys are saying, but it still seems totally wrong to me. If a vehicle life is shown as 25 years and you get a message when it reaches 9 years saying it's time to replace it, that makes no sense whatever.

I get the end of life warning even if I have switched off the replace at 25% option.
