  • I am missing Scandinavian models in general, but I realize that it is not likely to be many special models for the Scandinavian players.

Hencely I decided to have a look at what trains are used in Scandinavia that is or has been used in contintental Europe as well and came to think about the Swedish operator Snälltåget (Schnellzug) that operates between Stockholm and Malmö in Sweden and seasonaly to Åre in the north of Sweden and Berlin via Sassnitz.

In 2000 around 150 of DBs UIC-X coaches were sold to NS for short distance Intercity services.

In 2009 the waggons bought by NS were retired and 42 of them were sold on to Hector Rail in 2013.

In 2016 Snälltåget bought 19 of the waggons from Hector Rail and converted them into sleeper cars (liegewagens) and were put into service in 2017 after an extensive renovation work carried out in Romania.

Now I am hoping that someone is willing to mod these waggons for TpF 2 since the same model can be used for at least three railways (DB, NS and Snälltåget).

Drawings and pictures are available on Wikipedia and other sources:

History and facts for the DB era: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/UIC-X-Wagen_(DB) (article in German)

History and facts for the NS ICK era: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICK (article in Dutch)

History and facts for the Bmpz used by Snälltåget: https://www.jarnvag.net/vagnguide/bmpz (article in Swedish)

Since the models were made for TpF I suppose it should be possible to use those models as a base to work from since to my suprprise I haven't found any technical drawings for the BM235 and Bmpz on the internet.
