Hello everyone, could someone who has a good soul and know German and English who can translate this topic to the community? I like many modders we do not know the German language (although I have a lot of desire to learn). The topic of this member would be of great use to the entire community in other languages (I may in future translate from English to Portuguese as well).
Well, I leave here my request and appeal to some good soul that can do this great favor, a big hug.
Help to translate German > English

I can certainly try to translate it - the only problem is that I might not know all of the technical terms.
-
Alex, I can try to help you no technical terms, at need call me please.

@Maicom MR
Do you use Google Chrome?
Because Chrome has an automatic translater to be find in the settings..
You are from brazil so maybe the translater can translate from German to Brazil? -
@GamingPotatoes In Brasilien spricht man Portugiesisch

but automatic translations are crap and sometimes they make just no sense and don't find the right words.

You goddamn right (W.W.)
but automatic translations are crap and sometimes they make just no sense and don't find the right words.
Exactly, most translators only translate from some other language into English. The mechanism usually does not work when we want to change a language like this case (German> Portugês), because the translator will do the following process, German> Ingles> Portugês, and this causes the text to lose all sense.

Hi,
translate this topic
I gave it a try, see attached file.
Notes:
A) I'm not a Modder/familiar with Blender so it's very much possible I misunderstood some of the technical parts. Please feel free to point out any (technical) errors I made (and any parts which sound too Germanish/Austrianish ).
Actually there's one section which I totally failed at so far:...
Beispiel:
[/list]...First of all I have no clue how to translate "Drehfalttür". Rotating folding door? Here's a link to a Wiki page: Drehfalttuere Wiki It's in German but the pictures should give you an idea what kind of door we're talking about.
Secondly the sentence "Diese Gruppe eine Animation durch die sie um die z-Achse rotiert wird" doesn't make sense in the original German text already; at least one word (probably a verb) is missing somewhere in there.
I could use some help here from someone familiar with Blender. ( Merk?)B) I'm not terribly familiar with the formatting options for this forum yet either so I have created a plain text file. I'd like to get some feedback that the content of the text file is correct/understandable first. If that turns out alright I'll make an effort to format it properly.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Transalpin -
Nice to see someone doing the Translation - but maybe you could create an english lexicon entry out of it?
This might be much easier to read and edit. And it keeps the original design -

As I wrote in item B) in my previous posting:

@Transalpin, @Alex107 and @Dschimmi: I'm glad, that so many people want to translate the article, but the communication certainly could be better. How about working together to get Transalpins translation into the lexicon? (Feel free to use the pictures from my article.)
Diese Gruppe eine Animation durch die sie um die z-Achse rotiert wird
Ja, da fehlt ein Verb, sollte wohl heißen: "Diese Gruppe erhält eine Animation, durch die sie um die z-Achse rotiert wird"
-
Japp, da die erste Frage nach Übersetzung schon etwas älter war dachte ich das Interesse würde sich in Grenzen halten, dass sich hier jetzt doch drei Leute finden ist schön!
The first question for translation is some kind outdated, therefor i thought no one will translate this, but now three People will work on this topic, that's quite nice!
I will have a look at the english.txt file when i have a couple minutes without my wife coming every five minutes telling me what i have to do

Danke für die Klarstellung / thanks for the clarification.
but the communication certainly could be better.
Right. I should have asked @Alex107 if he was working on it already. Sorry about that. (Note: Didn't notice Dschimmi's posting in the comments section of the german lexicon entry at all.)
I will have a look at the english.txt file
Thank you. Please let me know if it's understandable.
@Maicom MR: I'd also be interested in your opinion. Getting feedback from you should prove beneficial in weeding out any expressions in my translation which might look OK to native German speakers but make no sense to the rest of the world.Meanwhile I have started familiarizing myself with the formatting options for creating postings / web disk articles. Doesn't look too complicated but I can't create headlines; [hl]...[/hl] is not recognized as a bbcode tag?
-
@Transalpin, I'm sorry, but maybe I have not understood your idea as a whole, but rather, the formatting features are quite simple, it's more a matter of practice and practice to learn more.
As for some features like [hl] I believe they are not enabled in the whole forum, only in some specific parts (as in Lexicon, for example). -
maybe I have not understood your idea
The idea was for you to proofread the text file I attached in my posting on Saturday, 00:38 BEFORE I start creating the lexicon entry. Never mind, my translation is online now: Blender Import/Export Add-on
it's more a matter of practice and practice to learn more
Right. One thing I'm having troubles with is to add a link to an image with a small preview version. Inserting a link will only allow a text as description; an inserted picture can be scaled to a smaller size but it doesn't expand to full size when clicked on!?
