Thanks, I have also however moved to TPF2 as well, and I actually started making repaints (I never thought I'd be able to). After I finish my current project, I'm considering making models, but I haven't tried it so it will be relatively hard.

What is the name of the folder of your mod?

Which game version are you using? (Steam,GOG,AppStore)

Well, I called the folder "IGR 7000 Series" (oh and also, I did put it in Steam/userdata/(my userid)/1066780/local/staging_area). As for the game version, it is the Steam one.

Alright, so I finally finished making my repaint mod I've been working on the past few days, all of the images are in the file, I have the mod.lua and everything. So, I put the mod in the staging_area file, and so that means I should be able to go in game and find the "Publish Mod" button. However, I go in and.. it's not there? Please help.

Alright, so basically, I've already done a lot with making my repaint. I've:

    1. Changed the textures and renamed them.

    2. (to my awareness) Changed all the .tga files inside of the .mtl files

    3. Renamed some lua files.

But, when I load the original mod and repainted mod in game, the repainted variations appear, but when I load the actual trains in game, it still has the same textures as the original mod. However (for whatever reason), when I load JUST the repainted mod into the game, it works fine. Can somebody help?

(the original mod is the JREast Series701 EMU) by Pz.kpfw.7

I would literally do anything for this to be made. The title is self explanatory, there is a lot of mods I want to convert, too many to just request. If anybody can do this, you're a godsend.

Can someone tell me how to make a train? There's no good tutorial anywhere, nor does the official page help me that much. I want to get into modding, can somebody tell me how to?

What does happen after resubscribing every mod from steam?

Well it just crashed me with a different mod, and after a lot of stuff, I resorted to resetting my game and resubscribing to all my mods. Thanks for trying to help, though! (also huge fan of your advanced camera views mod)

DH-106 It happens when I click "load game", and I tried re-installing a mod, but then crashed with a different mod this time, so i tried re-installing every mod, to no avail.

This does make things a bit complicated for me... I have zilch experience with Mac and am afraid that I can only offer very limited help with this.

But just to make sure: You cannot open the directory from Macs equivalent of Windows file explorer? Or does the crash happen when You try to open the activated mods ingame before loading the game?

DH-106 I'm providing a screenshot here (words in black blurred out for personal reasons, also file size was too big so once again, third party dropbox link :/)

Ok. This appears to be case 2 of the 3 I mentioned.

As far as the file is concerned, it looks like You moved the mod with the steam ID 1721600605 to the separate directory. Before opening Your savegame, You´ll need to deactivate the consequently no longer present steam mod and activate the copied version in the mod directory - the game will not locate the copied mod on its own; You need to tell it where to look.

For this, before loading a game, click on the little "+" indicated on the loading screen. If the copy has been done correctly, You ought to find the mod listed no longer with the source "Steam" but with the source "Local mod directory" (or similar) .

Alright, but my only problem is that I literally cannot open the mod directory, it will give me the crash when I try to. Anything I can do (if not how can I reset my game? I'm on Mac, yes, I'm on Mac pathetic I know)
