I can think of a reason.

There are a ton of mods out in the wild that do great things. Some of them could do things differently or maybe a little more of what was already done. Backing the mod up manually allows a user to tinker with the mod without fearing for the original Modder releasing an update and essentially erasing all of the manual edits they have made. If it's backed up, the user can periodically check for updates and incorporate them on their own time without erasing their edits.

Back on Topic; didn't the Contest Submissions end yesterday? Today is the 11th of April; I thought contest entries ended on the 10th?

right on point. was ich meistens ab ändere ist die Verfügbarkeit die manche moder streng nach productions datum setzen was für bestimmte Gattungen oder fab Gebungen viel zu kurz ist

To go back on the topic, if you win will you go there in urbangamescity? I honestly would do, it's always a nice trip going to swiss.

I had been in zurich in 2022 (only for half of a day) and I ended up walking on a road where I saw many women looking at me. I realized few hours later what was happening there So cool.

I also have been in Lausanne, Geneve and Delemònt (I was there to watch the St. Ursanne - Les Rangiers hillclimb race event).

I used trains; on a trip from delemont to st. Ursanne, a dude said that the train was f *** ing late with its 5 minutes of delay. Five minutes is considered "on time" here. Wish we were more swissy but not: we are naple's commanded here

28 entries from 23 competitors, and with 9 prizes the chances to win something look fairly high.

Für mich ist das eine tolle Anerkennung. Ich sehe das nicht nur für die Mod, mit der ich gewonnen habe, sondern allgemein für meinen Aufwand seit über 10 Jahren Mods für die TF-Reihe zu erstellen.

Ich gratuliere auch allen anderen Gewinnern und bin selbst begeistert von den tollen Wettbewerbs-Einreichungen.

UG-Protagonist

Vielen Dank an UrbanGames und die Bewertung der Jury. Das meine Mod so gut eigeschätzt wurde und den 1. Platz belegt hat.

Mich hat es auch gefreut, dass die Jury von UG genau das erkannt hat, was ich mit der Mod erreichen wollte. Etwas fürs Auge und auch einen Nutzen für das Spiel, so dass Optik, Animation und Funktion Hand in Hand gehen. Eine getriggerte Beladeanimation für Häfen, Bahnhöfe und LKW-Terminals wäre vielleicht für die Zukunft oder eventuell folgende Spiele wünschenswert.

Die angekündigten Updates, wie den gespiegelten Bau des Hafens oder den Bau von mehreren Terminals sind gerade in Arbeit.
