If you have a track mod and you don't like how TrackLib modifies it's name you can add it manually.

Edit your mod.lua file and before the function data() the following:

if _G["addTrackType"]~=nil then
	addTrackType(
		"trackfile.lua", -- filename of the track
		{
			name="MyTrack", -- name that appears on Track Type selection
			speedLimit=120, -- maximum speed of the track. Note that it is not /3.6 like in the track data
			cost=50, -- cost of the track. can be used to compute the track cost of stations
			yearFrom = 0, -- start year of availability for station track types (can be different than the one in the track data)
			yearTo = 0, -- end year of availability for station track types (can be different than the one in the track data)
			speedCoeffs = { .85, 30.0, .6 } -- speedCoeffs of your track. must be the same as the track data
		}
	)
end

Notes:
- you should use some unique names for your track files and names to avoid overwriting by other mods
- track names should be short and descriptive. Space in the construction menu is quite small
- cost can be different that the track file. for ex tracks built by the station can be more expensive
- to hide the track from track drawing menu set yearFrom in the track data to a high value like 999999 and add it with 0 or year you want
the track will appear in track type selections but you cannot build them freely
