my issue is that i have a lot of mods from this site without the mod manager and they work fine for the base game. now the usa dlc came out my game crashes trying to load any previous saves or even start a new one. i noticed that in starting a new game it wanted me to activate mods that i had but that entire space was blank. can anyone help me with this issue?

do you had a clear installation at the moment of the installatoin of the dlc?

I guess he means if you had any mods installed. Which you clearly have
I had a similar problem with my old savegames. Thus I saved the res folder (renamed it) and let steam check my intallation. Of course a load of files were downloaded again so I had a 'clean' installation afterwards. Then I used TFMM (latest version) and installed all my mods again. TFMM converts the downloaded .zip or .rar files to the new mod structure (mods installed in folder /mods). When starting a savegame I used the internal mod manager to activate all the mods and all works fine now.
