I seem to be having troubles with the pointer "skipping" instead of a smooth scroll in the game after it loads. Don't have problems before game or even on the title screen of the game, but once it loads the pointer jitters as I move the mouse. I have tried changing from a wireless mouse to a hard-wired mouse with the same results. I have tried changing resolution and even playing in window mode all with the same problem.

Any suggestions on how I might fix this?

Try to click at the landscape wherever the pointer is after loading. Have similar issue in this way the mouse won't scroll or rotate plus the scroll and rotating buttons are not active until I'm clicking at gras or some no object area. Don't know it you probably noticed but similar effect shows sometimes as long as the top right corner (vain, exit etc) menue keeps open.
    Good luck!
