I was playing on and off today on a map saving occasionally and of course the game is auto saving as well. At around 8:30 pm I logged off for a bit then returned to the game around 10 pm. I play thru steam and also am set up for beta testing and when I hit the button to fire up the game....there was a small game download of about 300 kbs...when my game screen loaded up there was no option to "continue" my save game. I went to load games and the map I was playing had the most recent save for 1:28 pm this afternoon and it was the same for the auto save. Maybe UG is patching tonite? or is this a glitch of some kind?

I wouldnt consider my puter to be a turkey. I7-7700 with a NVidia GTX 1050 TI 4GB video card. The owner/operator could possibly be considered a partial idiot but not a full one

Hello I solved the problem by my own tried and true method. There was nothing on the puter except for Steam and TPF and the driver for my video card and my antivirus program,

Did a reset to factory and had a super geek friend come by to make sure windows was set up properly and the aforementioned programs installed properly and now all is well for the time being.

Maybe I could have just uninstalled TPF and Steam then reinstalled them to solve the problem but it is what it is now.

Hello ...thanks for suggestions ...none worked. I purchased this computer last Saturday. I am the only user and listed as the administrator. All mods are downloaded from here and placed in the proper folder or from Steam which automatically places them in the folder Steam designates. No mods came from my previous puter. It was shut down last Saturday and not been started up since.

I discovered that even trying to rename it or move it, is not allowed because it is being used by another process. Wtf that process could be...I have no idea. It was easily deleted from my downloads file and Steam is not running therefore neither is my game. Still at a loss at what to do

Hello I have a strange problem...I would like to uninstall some certain mods and download the steam versions of them. However, I am given an administration error when I try to uninstall even tho I am the only admin and user on my puter. One particular mod I am trying to uninstall, for example, is the new laedi xl tramstation. My puter simply wont let me. Merks Achietments, on the other hand, when I right click then click delete...deletes! Is this a mod problem or something not programmed correctly in my puter? This computer is very new and I am using Windows 10 which btw I am learning to dislike very much...

Any help would be appreciated greatly

what debug mode do you speak of and how do I employ it??

No Idea what just happened....spent the last few hours laying track ...connecting towns...etc. ....made a depot...clicked an engine and poof game crashed...went to start game and this popped up...any ideas?

Hello This morn I fired up my game and played a bit then saved and logged off of it with the plan, of course, to come back later to continue. This afternoon I fired up my game and hit "continue" from where I left off and after partially loading up the game, a window came up saying something like this

File Station/passenger/person_lane.mdl
Cannot open res/models/model/passengers/person_lane.mdl
No such file or directory ...etc
something about syntax and this is a modding error

I am at a loss as to which particular mod this is pointing to so I can put it aside and continue my game and to tell the author of the problem...Thoughts? Ideas? Help Please?
