Unwarpping works fine and I have try diffent type of unwarpping, but the texture I have made with blender, there a fitting to the model, as soon I change it to DDS, the texture is all over the place.
I try making a cube with some texture and it does the same thing with, here is some pictures. What am I doing wrong???

I am new to modding and I have a qustion about DDS format.
I use Blender (with TP import/export add-on) to the 3d models, but I can not find out how to make dds textures, there are fitting to my models.
I know how to convert a texture to dds with GIMP, but not how to unwrap / see uv, so I can see where to paint.
MY question is how do I go from a 3d model without texture to one with it, using DDS textures?Many thanks for any help

I have for some time work on a little train I always I wanted into TF and later TpF.
It is the switcher use in the danish movie "Olsen Banden på Sporet" ("The Olsen Gang on Track"), where the gang used it to steal a armored trainwagen filled with gold.
The switcher use in the movie is the DSB rangertraktor 57, there where make in 1953 and is today at the danish railroadmuseum.I have to is time finshed the model a is going to make the textures and materials to the model.
