Aviation is currently very difficult. I used a realistic Atlantic map and connected the cities with airports only. (No Cost mod of course) Used Airbus A 380 to create hubs between New York, Frankfurt and Dubai. Regional airports in other cities. Many planes of all types and many routes . Connected cites to airports with buses and trams but not to each other. I was never able to fill the planes. Looked great. Riding the planes (flying in?) and making connections to fly from LAX to Johannesburg via JFK and Dubai was really nice but the planes never had a lot of passengers. Hope this changes in TPF 2. I'm definitely going to try it again.
