Emiliocat and also for others, take the code from WernerK's post " RE: Build with Collision " , and replace lines 138 to 147 of the build_with_collision LUA in the config folder of the Buil with Collision 1.3 beta version by VacuumTube. Then the button is to the right of the bulldozer symbol and with the hint from Black Desire from the post "RE: Build with Collision " it should work for now. I myself have now tried it on several maps without problems

More trucks have went to the paintshop and got their liveries done.
Many more ideas are in mind, but that is mostly Dutch focussed. I'm open to your suggestions from other countries, especially when based on H0 models

Works ok with roads and paths...... but assets no joy

1m is not enough, because people walk on the edge.

They are not 3 m but 1.5 m wide
You can certainly reduce to 1 m.
Maybe 1.5 would be fine....... 
They can go upto the road without connecting to it fully and it still works for sims to use.

I made these two myself.
The data:
numLanes = 2,
streetWidth = 0.1,
sidewalkWidth = 1.5,
The height in the example is different:
Way 1: sidewalkHeight = 0.0,
Way 2: sidewalkHeight = 0.1,
I prefer the height 0.0
The width of 1.0 seems a bit too little to me. It will be tight for pedestrians
Edit: The footpaths on my city streets all have a height of 0.1 and a width of 2.5.
The pedestrian paths on the vanilla streets are too wide and too high for me 😒
Yes like them... find the 3m are to big for certain things. Maybe would be tight for pedestrians, but handy had foot path for coming out of houses and gardens.
