Forget this point for now, i'm trying to sort that out. Maybee it's not longer properly
Edit: You can leave the tga textures as they are, the game accepts them (for me, nvidia graphics card) in al graphic settings. But that's new, earlier the game crashed there, the demand for UG is out. Let's hope for a quick answer. Normally dds is smaller also as compressed tga, but in your case the textures are very simple not (meant negatively) with less colour informations and so compressed tga has a better result then the dds. Explanation: dds has a fixed size depending on the resolution, tga becomes smaller the less color information the image has.
The Crash comes from the menu_ir_e626.mdl --> no emissions defined?
Yeah, all your points are correct.
He is using .tga textures cause he is getting "black models" if he uses .dds files. Is there a definitive solution on those black models? Limitating the use of .tga solves most of the problem.I'll check the menu.mdl file, don't know what happened there. I've placed there a standard menu file

Post update.
Added recent publications: FS stations, Gr640 locomotive, Gran confort coaches (not available on steam) and tipo 1946/1959.
E626 is close to publishment (it's very beautiful), Ale 724 will have to wait.
No infos about casaralta double deckers, etr 460/480 and E402A by danibon (he vanished).
I think that also the E414 is on the road of pubblication.
Also the steam Locomotive Gr 835 is on its way. The locomotive is beautiful, it just miss definitive texture and shafts/pistons animation.
My next big work is the Etr 250 / 300 train, but I will also concentrate on the adaption of an english steam locomotive to fit italian Gr 380. There will be also a set of repaints of the German 236 shunting locomotive (known as D236 in italy). As last thing, probably not allowed by the original authors, we would like to obtain the Gr 675 steam locomotive from a german group.

Italian contest is way better than before. I still remember how sad was to play, in the past, this game. I mean, ger, aus, holland, french, english vehicles are very beautiful, models are great... but not having a chance using vehicles we know better was really sad

I've also updated the "Eurofima FS2" set, that you can actually find only on the DMA forum. I don't own privileges to upload it also on steam.
This "patch" will automatically update all the old eurofima false wagons to the real ones.
It is important to update also the base set of the eurofimas (that can be found in the forum)
A big thank to Manushinto27 that modelled the Gran Confort wagons. Original models are entirely made by Danny.
This update contains 30 coaches.

List of features and corrections:
- Gran Confort wagons have lower capability (18) due to the specific service of those wagons (only first classes).
- Both Gran confort and latest UIC-Z1 have side panels to show the name of the Line and the name of the Train. It's a physical panel for the early gran confort and an emissive display for the latest UIC-Z1.
- Restaurant wagons have their specific capabilities. Moto-generator wagon can carry only 1 person.
- Each kind of vehicle has its own menu, to accomodate future sets of repaints.
- Gran confort are available in tipo 70 and tipo 85 versions (aestethical differences on the roof), and in compartments and open space configurations. Also restaurant wagons are available in tipo 1970 version and tipo 1992 version.
- UIC-Z1 are available in compartments and open space versions.
- Self service wagon is available in original configuration (tipo 1971) and refurbished version snack bar (tipo 1994).
- Eurofimas are now available in the real liveries they had in italy: bigrigio, frecciabianca, icsun (more liveries with the FS-1 set)
- UIC-Z1 are available in bandiera, bigrigio, xmpr, frecciabianca, icsun liveries.
- Gran Confort are available in TEE, bandiera and xmpr liveries. More will come in the future.
