For this screen, a few explanations are necessary: In the 1940s, the DRG electrified a line known as the Höllental line in 20kv 50 Hz, i.e. "industrial frequency". This line then ended up in 1945 in the French occupation zone in Germany. Very interested, the young SNCF used the same voltage on a test section between Aix-Les-Bains and La Roche sur foron, some German machines (the E244) having then circulated some time in France and will be used as bass for the future 25Kv.
