Since I needed a preview image for my aircraft tug anyway I took the opportunity to add an extra screenshot for the contest as well
.
The Airbus is pushed back and will go for inspection to the hangar after it gave a false alarm.
PS probably the tag in the gallery has a language compatibility issue, it doesn't show with the images from Katzer and @PB_2401_Coeln . I think the same happened for golden.eagle .
Question; which do you prefer for the capacity on the tug, A. passenger or B. cargo?
(the version with the Airbus will be an 'always loaded' one)
Nice
, Is that an animated chess board I see on the table there? ![]()
the lods are added and a first simple paint for the (I expect among us well known) Knuffingen Airport ![]()
As often happens while modding the ideas expand. I thought I could use some more cargo items, as I had an afternoon off I decided to do some modelling.
I wasn't able to do much modding the last weeks, so the progress on the lowbed pack is limited. The trailers are added to the asset, the trucks not yet.
I did some adjustments to let the trailers support all cargo types, thats about half way done.
For Schwarz Bau a version with the Nooteboom trailer is added.
Maybe you can do a co-op with Siri to add the church to her Kirchenpakket? Then we have all those fabulous churches at hand in one place ![]()
Congrats to all the winners! ![]()

Yes, you may ![]()
Besides the Schienenbus the asset offers 2 extra locomotives. I've got 40 different cargo options in it now, and that's even not yet including the support vehicles for Rico S. 's mobile crane.
Not a lot, but some progress on the lowbed trailer assets. The basis for all the variants is done, before I start on the different liveries I'll add the cargo to the asset first.
I'm a bit in doubt still if I will make the fitting load securing with chains and straps... It will add quite some work (and tris) ... what do you think?
A small update for the Iveco EuroTech series, version 1.11 now includes always loaded versions for the container trucks. I also did a small correction for some cargo sizes on the 13.6m tarp trailers with doors.
28 entries from 23 competitors, and with 9 prizes the chances to win something look fairly high.
In 2 weeks we'll see who may step on the podium. Good luck!
The reasoning why UG opted to implement a cooperation with mod.io was provided by UG and is in essence what also HundertDampf mentions above.
Where and why modders upload their mods is probably a personal choice and everyone is free to choose which platforms to use or not.
Personally my favourite by far is the filebase here. Why?; Simple, the great community behind it providing kind feed-back and footage of my mods in use. Here everyone seems to understand that all these mods are provided fully for FREE, most modders even provide full support to the users of the forum. Users understand that not everything is possible and it takes (a lot of) time to make them. And when something fails here we get useful data like the use cases and sdtout files. I can't say the same for Steam or mod.io.
Another thing that can be somewhat annoying on the other platforms are some blunt or plain stupid comments. I don't take it personal, but getting a dislike on Steam or mod.io is never nice, especially when these are not explained and users still keep their subscription to the mod. On Steam the dislikes have an unreasonable big effect on the rating of mods. If you don't like a mod, it is free for you to not subscribe and not leave a like
and that should be sufficient.
The statistics are nice, but those can never compensate for a great community like we have here. Therefore my mods will always come available here before anywhere else. Steam will get most of them with a small delay. Only when my mod is compatible for consol (so within all restrictions of logo's) I will publish them on mod.io.
With that said; back to the contest.

A first bit for the asset of my new Iveco truck with the Nooteboom trailer is taking form. I've deviated a bit from my 'standard' asset config, but it won't be that much that the user experience is different, it's more on technical level to support the trailer getting extended (in steps of 0.5 meter up to max 9 meters).
The Oscorp truck is now available on Steam,
Tonight I've done one more repaint, this will become the preview mod on Steam;
