The DAF with lowbed is available, I wonder which one you like most.
Is it MAMMOET with the lady truckers or maybe the convoi of Schwarz Bau or pehaps Felbermayr ...
Oh if you haven't noted yet a small easter-ish egg is included, I'll give this one though.
For the asset when using the bulldozer as cargo and having the ramps down; it will not have LSD. In this case LSD is not acid but stands for Load Securing Devices.
Hope you don't mind me tagging you, but can you please let me know if a repaint of the baustellen fahrzuege mod can be authorized.
Ofcourse you will be mentioned in the creators list.
Hope you can respond, thanks in advance!
Well that's almost done, last addition is a MAMMOET one with flash lights that will also be my presentation image.
The flashlights are also available for the asset as addon to any colour.
My DAF N2800 mod has grown a bit more, based on the cubus military pack from manuel_zockt the military cargo changed. Though I do see the models have a bit too much detail, the tris-count is still less than I see on other vehicles.
For the bulldozer I made new meshes to get the UV maps proper. At the moment the meshes of that are also a little bit of overkill still. I have simplified it only slightly at this point, more can be achieved there.
And because I know you'll want them; For Schwarz bau it includes assets for the office containers, the bulldozer and the driver character.
All the FAUN crashtenders are now updated with the tailored crew feature.
You know where to find them
The FAUN3000 has just been updated to include tailored crew characters, hope you like them.
The other crashtenders should folow shortly, just want to review them one last time.
gladly. But the mod is still in the works.
It is a large pack
Cool the cubus pack from TpF1 is made available for TpF2 on steam.
Great thanks manuel_zockt
The asset for the N2800 is getting form, an option I really like is that it allows you to place a truck and trailer in an angle other than only a straight line.
I'm thinking if/how to include cargo items for the assets. Though you'll be able to place your own items, it could be cumbersome to place them correct...
I'm not sure how the mod is build. If they are all in the same mdl file then using the same animation to rotate the parts should be sufficient.
If it requires different animations for the various segments I expect that you can solve this by making all parts children of each other.
Similar to the way I animated the tail lift of the DAF55, but a better example is Hugedragons concrete pump.
dview , I have the Baustellenfarzeuge mod, but haven't used the compactor due to its size. How hard was it to resize it to a more life like size? And that looks pretty baller.
I have scaled it to 0.45 for X and Z axles and 0.50 for the Y axle.
The radlader is at 80% (0.8) for all its axles.
Now that looks cool
I hope you get the authorization to publish this. But as you mentioned before you really have to hope no one will ever do a "Polizei Fahrzeugkontrolle: Ladungssicherung - Mod" or you are in real trouble.
I'll need to at least get RF radio's on board so drivers can warm eachother and take a detour around the check points
Looks like French cars that they had until the 90's... 😀
Yup indeed it is that French look that occasionaly was outside the country as well.
Genau solche Sachen fehlten noch: Komplett funktionierende Fahrzeuge der Polizei und Feuerwehr.
For the T3 they are still one my list, hope you can wait a little longer.
hmm what do you think about these yellow headlights for the N2800?
In night mode it looks nice, but is it too yellow for day mode?
I've release the updated Benz including the tailored crew.
In total it has 10 unique person characters that appear in different combinations.
Hope you like them and treat them well. They do not need food, but they do like a little attention

Cargo for the military and Mammoet is arranged.
Wonder how they secured that cargo, I can't recall building any twistlocks in these trailers
While the Benz is running test with the new crew members there is good progress for the DAF NT2800.
All 3 variants of the Herpa trailer are now done, being 3-, 4-, and 5-axle versions.
The liveries available will be the DAF catalogue orange/yellow, a military dark green, Felbermayer and Mammoet.
Felbermayr will be loaded with the truck, for the other two I have yet to come up with a cargo item. Mammoet is most likely going to carry a big box.
PS I won't animate the ramps, but have prepared open and closed versions for the assets.
The audi avus is ditched and replaced with a new small side project, a DAF N2800 truck. Not the most common truck DAF made so doubt anyone recognizes it;
the trailer is the Herpa flatbed I made before, still the 4 and 5 axle versions need to be done, but now I have reason to build those.
