This is a core problem with the game. All you can do (afaik) is to use lane management to the best of your abilities. Feel free to attempt to mod that. I think the best that's been done is that mod that gives you a bunch of different road types. Haven't used it for a while tho

hiya, my installation keeps on asking for a password. Is there a password to install this mod?
Read the changelog.

I love this thread

The two of them in the game is enough to cause the crash. I'm sure it's never been an issue (I also never had an issue till now) because no other mods are doing what hugedragonyk is doing with industries imo. Reproducing it should be as easy as placing the port down with just the two mods and sandbox installed will crash after you connect the roads(for time sake try to place it in a spot that's close to two towns so you don't have to wait too long for the ai to get to the port). Not sure if it matters, but I was using .2 for max street slope and .4 for embankment slope. It crashes with the mod's default settings as well
-
So after some time I was able to sit down and found it to be Maximum street Slope from VacuumTube. DesertClaw1986 Remove said mod if you have it and replace the port and you should be able to use it again as I am having no issues with ai crossing. (Just removing the mod doesn't doesn't fix it, port needs to be replaced) If it still doesn't work for you then it's some other mod being annoying. hugedragonyk do you think in the next update that the one way roads at the ends could be a little longer? Or flat at the least? I understand it can be difficult to figure out what's causing what, but as the mod maker could you make a non compatible list for the lazies that don't want to be bothered to waste 30 minutes to an hour of their life (which is understandable) to figure this stuff out.

It is also sufficient to cut the road connections as a test.
I was able to recreate the error for myself, you can also just take a look for yourself. It was understandable for me, the game crashed (after reloading for me) whenever a vehicle crossed the last node in front of the port. The same for Nando, but it works for him now after deactivating the road mod "American Roads". TritonSC you also use a street mod.
It looks like there is a problem with your port and AI vehicles. The game always crashes as soon as an AI vehicle wants to drive onto the harbor at the last node before the harbor.
You can force the problem if you use street mods.
the game crashes immediately when you load the harbor and a street mod (I used american roads)
The 2nd problem has to do with the performance of the mod. You use "twoSided = true," for all materials, although that is not necessary. De facto you double the tris to be displayed by the game for this mod with this entry.
@Huge Dragon I was also easily able to recreate this as I was having similar crashes and the road setup as it is in the picture is the way I got it working without issue. I know for a fact it's this mod causing the crash. Little miss Samantha wanted to go to work and would go through that side and crash the game every time. She goes around instead and happily disappears like the others reporting for work

Screenshots? with Lane Display ? Technical rebuilding stops should create a rebuild cycle. Again without some proper bug reports my code won't get magical bug fixes.

More stations or a way to move the breakpoint should follow at some point.
I'm not sure yet in which direction to go.
I would love an extra package from another author with new models.
In other words, I'm not happy that the road package then has to include X breakpoints.
My motivation to screw around with TPF2 isn't that great right now. Say you have to be patient for new things...
Take the time you need, some people can maybe follow along this guy's footsteps https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php?entry/6807-strassenbahn-schienen-mod/
I've been trying to make some asymmetric roads to supplement the one's you've created, but I work 10-12 hours a day during these months so it's been a slow process. Modeling tho is something I have never known how to do/put in the time to try

Now the stops work, however the game doesn't seem to want to feel the line as possible anymore so he says he can't connect the line from a normal road to the road with the tracks in the middle... I reloaded the mod, completely removed the old folder but now the game wants to enforce its stupid logic again..
But if I recreate this line exactly 1 to 1, then the game does it..
Edit: Is there a stop for the streets with more lanes? So far there is only for the 2 lane
Did you upgrade the roads or place them new? It refused to work for me until I deleted the streets and placed them down again. Yes those are currently the only ones with stops

Where can I find the mod ("CommonAPI2) on Steam because I can't find this mod?
It was taken off and probably won't be put back for good reason imo
-
Good evening,
I have a question, regarding your streets with tram tracks in the middle, it could be some other street mod
overwrites yours because I miss the big roads with middle tracks?
Street fine tuning is what was overriding for me. I made it load before street package and they showed up again. Now with some dupped roads added into the category from street fine tuning

So that save is fucked then is what I'm taking from this lol. Guess I'll wait for the next game update to come out before I bother making a new one. I just hope they figured out that letting us type the number for the mod order is way better than only being able to go up or down with arrows..
-
I thought it might've been because of low-ish storage on the ssd it's on, but when I checked I had just under a 100gb. The only mods I could think it's referring to is eis_os road pack, murs maybe street fine tuning. I also have couple of tram related road mods, but I don't think it's from any of those. It only happens when the year/day go to 1975 dec 27 then all of a sudden ctd. If I keep the game paused it's fine, when the day changes instants ctd. Guess I'll just wait for ug to finally update in hopes that ordering mods isn't such a pain. I refuse to reorganize 150 mods, until then I'll just wait to make a new map
-
I don't remember deleting any road mods or such so I'm really not sure what happened. Could someone help me? Really not looking forward to rearranging 150+ modsstdout.txt13533773-218e-4d61-8aa5-66994a480a03_stdout.txt

Probably a dumb question, does that dll you speak of come with the common api mod? I'm fairly new to this site and haven't played much of tpf2 recently, I can't find it if it has it's own page.
