No need to script. Would be best if it replaces the original ones.

I believe transport speed is the thing here. Slow your trains down, so they prefer more own transport.

This looks great to me, using British, French, and Belgium rail in lets say 1900-1910 era.
Lots of great steam loco's for this area, and more.
But needs a cleanup of the random trees to give it a better feeling..

Maybe a tool that indexes what you have and where reorder.
Problem will be with any update from the workshop somethings are reset..

Yes, I only work with invisible stops. This gives me the opportunity to design each stop differently. For example, the bus shelters are often quite a distance away from the actual stop. With the invisible streets I can build pretty nice stopping bays for the buses without anything annoying getting in the way of a normal stop.
