Small tweaks to the forum software

With the adaptations of the tpf|net style on 21.04.2020 some features will be introduced:

Under certain circumstances the small function buttons at the end of the posts (report, liken, edit, quote) were not visible in the mobile view. This has now been fixed in the default style.

Customization of avatars

The shape of the avatars has been changed back to the old theme (before the software update in January). If you prefer to stay with the round avatars, you can switch to the corresponding style with round avatars here.

Show Paypal.me buttons for VIP users

Before the software update it was possible and allowed for VIP users to display a donation button that links to Paypal. Such a button is now available again. The buttons will be integrated:

  • in contributions of the user
  • in webdisk-entries in which the user is involved (in the contributor lists)
  • in the user profile of the user

For this purpose, users can enter their PayPal username in their profile at Paypal.me. As soon as a user is a member of the VIP group, the button will be displayed. For the VIP user status you can apply here, if you have published several mods in the webdisk.

Individual links to PayPal or other donation possibilities (like Patreon) have to be clarified with the administration

.

Modders who have inserted such links in the webdisk in the meantime are asked to remove them (unless otherwise agreed with the administration).

In the webdisk, modlists in boxes show thumbnails of the mods instead of the user avatars

Most of the compact modlists in the webdisk, e.g. the list of new mods and other mods of the author at webdisk entries now show small preview pictures instead of the avatars of the users.

For webdisplay entries, clicking on the preview image calls up the image in original size

Another feature missing after the software update is now back. With a click on the compact mod preview image in the webdisk-entry, the image in uploaded size is now displayed again.

There is a "New Entries" list similar to "Updated Entries", which sorts all viewable entries chronologically

Similar to the "Sort by newest" function in the Steam Workshop, you can now display all webdisplay entries sorted by publication date in a table. You can access this table via the box on the right side of the webdisk start page or via the menu item "New entries". (Sorry, no translation available currently )
