An updated view of the East Coast Mainline running through Hornsey, North of London. Beyond the large middle tunnel is the cutting through the Camden area and into King's Cross. The single-merged line on the left is the last running spur for Cheltenham-Cambridge services; an heirloom of the Great Eastern Railway which might soon be closed as the running services are consolidated into streamlined routes and shorter services are withdrawn. This may become a wagon or carriage siding eventually. On the right we see the two goods lines that emerge into the Kentish Town cutting which run through into King's Cross goods. These lines are for goods trains coming from the East Coast mainline, including brick and machine trains from Peterborough and food trains from Grimsby.
