  • Not a help so far,

    When export in to dds with mipmaps there it goes wrong.

    It scrabbles the uv map up 100%

    without mipmaps c++ error

    idea's are welcome,

  • Looking great, check out, Modding Guide: Anleitung für Anfänger zum Erstellen eines Mods changing colors is in de cdr texture file.

  • At this time i hit a Road block.

    Texture is always as shown in the photo.

    Had 6 different colors, they don't show, only is i make a model with every color.

    Somebody knows how colors work in the new TF2?

    i want to use the ingame intended system.

    For the rest it's ready to go

    • What do You want to achieve? If You want to dull down the colours and adjust the shine, You´ll need a MG map.

      The red channel contains the metallic property, the green one the overall gloss and the blue channel hosts the Ambient Occlusion, i. e. the interference shading between closely spaced parts. Generally, black is "none" and white is "give it what You got" - graduate it as needed.

      For a less condensed explanation, if needed, head on over to the lexicon:

      Glossmap und Texturen (ein zweiter Versuch)

      For user selectable colours, the Cblend/dirt map is the way. Red channel defines repaintable areas, green is rust (long-term dirt) and blue is short-term dirt. In the red channel, black is repaintable while white is not; the other two use white for maximum stain strength (again, intermediate values are possible).

  • OMG that would be a thing to have! Totally havent thought about bikes - definitely support this idea! :-)
