Thema: Dieselstrecke in Hügellandschaft / Bild 2

Die einzelnen Texturen lassen sich in der Vanilla-Version sehr viel weicher miteinander "übermalen", was bei verschiedenen Boden/Stein/Sand Texturen ein echter Vorteil ist. Mit NEP stehen sie eher abgegrenzt nebeneinander. Allerdings ist die NEP2 Farbigkeit ungeschlagen. Kompromisse machen ist angesagt. ;)

  • Excellent work - I appreciate the struggle of tediously laying texture over texture in the hopes of super realism. We need some sort of hybrid brush tool! Again, fantastic work.

    • Hi! Thanks for your comment. Indeed I did a lot of discussion once NEP2 was launched, long time ago. But I was in the view that the developers did not really understood my very special concern. Compared to the vanilla way of handling textures the NEP2 approach is totally different. Most of the times the textures does not melt into the other nice and smooth but with hard and sharp edges. I really had problems once. But today I am ok with that as the way of colour is more brilliant. But anyway... I still love the map I did in the vanilla game and I really love the foggy air which is more the way of "german" weather. If I look to your pics, I think you are still on the vanilla side, right?

    • Hello mate! I never have tried NEP out of fear it is not super compatible with a lot of the American mods i use daily. I never knew users have such struggles with textures. I try to keep my shots with the vanilla environmental tools, as I often get asked what special tools I am using etc. Some have even said photoshop! Ironically, for most of my shots that are temperate or desert, I use the "tropical" skybox - Secret tips!!
