hi again
This is a Fairbanks-Morse Trainmaster. They were produced from 1953 to 1957, and used a unique opposed-piston diesel engine. Most were used for road freight, but the Southern Pacific had theirs regeared for commuter rail service outside San Francisco.
only one survives today, since they were almost all cannibalized for their engines since Fairbanks-Morse used the same ones in US Navy submarines.
to-do:
-animated fans-grates over said fans-proper stats-reflections-couplers-particle effects
-fix number boards to have actual numbers-sounds?
