Forum rules

The server location is Germany. Based on this, German law also applies in principle. In addition, our forum rules. These also apply to our Teamspeak server and to our Discord.

OUR SELF-UNDERSTANDING

<1> We are a private homepage dedicated to the transport simulations Train Fever and Transport Fever 1/2/3 by Urban Games and where related topics such as public transport and railways etc. can also be discussed. We are expressly not a forum for general politics, religion or a forum for self-portrayal or advertising.

<2> The forum rules and the instructions of the administrators and moderators are not a basis for discussion. The instructions must always be followed. If you feel you have been treated unfairly, contact an administrator.

<3> The common language in this forum is German. Alternatively, you can also write in English. Topics or contributions can also be written in another language, but in the case of mixed-language topics, a translation into German or English must be included.

ACCOUNT BASICS

<4> The chosen forum name (nicknames) should be short and understandable. Names like "I am now a member" or "123123" are of no use to anyone and will be deleted without comment. Likewise, the name must not pretend to have any function or reputation (such as "Admin" etc.) in order to gain personal advantage. Selected avatars must not be offensive, hurtful or explicitly contain advertising.

<5> Double/multiple accounts are prohibited. This prevents, among other things, users from avoiding warnings/sanctions, from being able to gain a possible advantage in votes, surveys, possible competitions, etc., from raising their own topics in the ranking and from unnecessary data material burdening the forum. Affected accounts will be blocked/deleted.

<6> Members who have not activated their account within 7 days of registering may be deleted, but can register again if they wish. Members with accounts without any activity since registration (i.e. without posts, not logged in for more than a month) must reckon with the fact that the accounts could be deleted from time to time. A new registration is possible at any time.

<7> The attachment of supporter links is only permitted in consultation with the administration and only where the forum functions allow for it. This is regulated via the VIP modder status.

DEALING WITH EACH OTHER IN THE FORUM

<8> Please note the rules and the pinned threads and announcements in each forum. The general rule is: read first, then post.

<9> The search function is not an ornament. Please use them to check if such a topic already exists before creating a new thread.

a Please use meaningful titles for your created topics. Titles like "I have a question" or "Problem!!!" bring nothing to anyone and harm the overview. Surveys should be created as directly as possible in the relevant topics.

b Posting two consecutive posts in a topic within a short period of time, also known as double posting, is prohibited. Excluded are updates in the modding area, here the time span is 60 minutes. Pushing topics is prohibited.

a The posts themselves must contain a reasonable amount of text and not just consist of smileys, images or videos. Lined-up punctuation marks or capital letters should be avoided: "!!!" and "???" is interpreted as shouting or aggression and can be a reason for a warning.

b Insults / flame / offtopic / troll postings or similar will be deleted by the moderators, i.e. the relevant part of the text will be deleted. As a rule, it is referred to the reason for editing and to the rules of the forum. Posts of this type without content worth preserving will be completely deleted. A warning will be issued for particularly serious insults or multiple troll, offtopic or flame postings.

c Quotations in the forum should be used sparingly, if possible. Please do not cite a complete post and shorten the citations as much as possible. It is not necessary to quote a post directly preceding it, a simple mention of the other user is often sufficient. The team reserves the right to shorten quotations that are too long.

d Please clarify disputes among yourself via PM. The reprimanding of users regarding the forum rules by non-team members is to be omitted. If no agreement or clarification can be reached, contact a moderator or administrator. Insults and personal attacks are also not allowed in PM's!

<12> So that signatures do not hinder the flow of reading in the forum and to avoid long loading times and high traffic, banners / graphics in the signature may be a maximum of 700 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. The complete signature must not exceed the total height of about 150px (below 1920x1080). If the signature is not adjusted after being advised by the team, the signature function will be blocked for the respective user.

a In the download area, the detailed terms of use for the download area apply. Files may only be uploaded if you are sure that you can pass them on or offer them on or that you have obtained permission. This permission should be identified. All authors involved must be identified. Content that you do not own the rights to may not be uploaded.

b Links to external programs and tutorials are allowed. The linking user undertakes to check the legality of the content before posting the link. However, tools and modifications created by you belong in the download area. Please note <15>.

<14> The youth protection applies in this forum. The publication of suggestive or pornographic material is prohibited. The same applies to the approval and / or trivialization of criminal offenses. Violations, including lewd jokes or remarks in image, sound and writing will be deleted and the user will be warned.

<15> Supporting players who own an illegal version of the game is prohibited.

GENERAL PROHIBITIONS

<16> The posting of so-called referrer links or affiliate links, which can be traced back to a specific person and which gives them benefits such as monetary benefits (example partner programs), points (example Thief Games) and the like, as well as links pointing to illegal content refer are prohibited. Requests or threads in this context will be removed by the moderators. Posting or linking to malicious code or similarly classified malicious code is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.

a Advertising threads for private homepages / communities, as well as advertising in general, are only possible after consultation with an administrator.

b Merchandise or advertising for social media channels in images, links or mods are not permitted without the approval of the administration. This also includes images and/or mods from streamers, youtubers and influencers etc. The direct presentation of your TPF-based content in the forum areas provided for this purpose is permitted.

c Links to filehosters or sites that violate legal provisions will be deleted by the team. Links to sites that copy our content will also be deleted.
