The server location is Germany. Therefore, German law generally applies. Additionally, our forum rules also apply. These rules also apply to our Teamspeak server and our Discord.

OUR SELF-UNDERSTANDING

<1> We are a private homepage dedicated to the transport simulations Train Fever and Transport Fever 1/2 by Urban Games, and where related topics such as public transport and railways can also be discussed. We are expressly not a forum for general politics, religion, or a forum for self-promotion or advertising.

<2> The forum rules and the instructions of the administrators and moderators are not a basis for discussion. Instructions must be followed. If you feel unfairly treated, contact an administrator.

ACCOUNT BASICS

<3> The chosen forum names (nicknames) should be short and understandable. Names like "I am now a member" or "123123" are of no use and will be deleted without comment. The name should also not pretend to have a function or fame (like "Admin" etc.) to gain a personal advantage. Chosen avatars must not be offensive or hurtful, nor contain explicit advertising.

<4> Double/multiple accounts are prohibited. This is to prevent users from circumventing warnings/sanctions, gaining a possible advantage in polls, surveys, competitions, etc., boosting their own topics in the rankings, and burdening the forum with unnecessary data material. Affected accounts will be blocked/deleted.

<5> Members who have not activated their account within 7 days of registration may be deleted but can re-register if desired. Members with accounts without any activity since registration (i.e., no posts, not logged in for over a month) must expect their accounts to be deleted from time to time. Re-registration is possible at any time.

<6> Adding supporter links is only allowed in consultation with the administration and only where the forum functions centrally provide for it. This is regulated by VIP-Modder status.

<7> Deleting user accounts is only possible by the team. Please contact [email protected]

<8> Contributions remain after the deletion or blocking of the user account and will not be deleted by the team. Unless there is a violation under §10. By confirming the registration, you accept this regulation.

DEALING WITH EACH OTHER IN THE FORUM

<7> Please observe the rules and the pinned threads and announcements in each forum. Generally, the rule is: Read first, then post.

<8> The search function is not just for decoration. Please use it to check if a topic already exists before creating a new thread.

a Please use meaningful titles for your created topics. Titles like "I have a question" or "Problem!!!" are of no use and harm the overview. Polls should preferably be created directly in the corresponding topics.

b Posting two consecutive posts in a topic within a short time, also known as double postings, is prohibited. Exceptions are updates in the modding area, here the time span is 60 minutes. Pushing topics is prohibited.

a Posts must contain a meaningful amount of text and not just consist of smileys, pictures, or videos. Avoid stringing together punctuation marks or using permanent capitalization: "!!!" and "???" are interpreted as shouting or aggression and can be grounds for a warning.

b Insults/flame/off-topic/troll posts, etc., will be deleted by the moderators, i.e., the relevant part of the text will be deleted. The reason for the edit and the forum rules are usually referenced. Posts of this kind without valuable content will be completely deleted. In cases of particularly severe insults or repeated troll, off-topic, or flame posts, a warning will be issued.

c Quotes in the forum should be used sparingly, if possible. Please do not quote an entire post and shorten quotes as much as possible. Quoting a directly preceding post is not necessary, often a simple mention of the other user is sufficient. The team reserves the right to shorten excessively long quotes.

d Settle disputes privately via PM. Reprimanding users regarding forum rules by non-team members is prohibited. If no agreement or resolution is reached, contact a moderator or administrator. Insults and personal attacks are also not allowed in PMs!

<11> To avoid disrupting the reading flow in the forum and to prevent long loading times and high traffic, banners/graphics in the signature may be a maximum of 700 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. The entire signature may not exceed a total height of about 150px (under 1920x1080). If the signature is not adjusted after hints from the team, the signature function for the respective user will be disabled.

a In the download area, the detailed terms of use of the download area explicitly apply. Only files may be uploaded that you are sure you can redistribute or offer or for which you have obtained permission. This permission should be indicated. All participating authors must be indicated. Content for which you do not own the rights must not be uploaded.

b Links to external programs and tutorials are allowed. The linking user undertakes to check the legality of the contents before posting the link. Tools and modifications created by you belong in the download area. Please refer to <15>

<13> Youth protection applies in this forum. The publication of suggestive or pornographic material is prohibited. The same applies to the approval and/or trivialization of criminal acts. Violations, including suggestive jokes or remarks in image, sound, and writing, will be deleted, and the user will be warned.

<14> Support for players who own an illegal version of the game is prohibited.

GENERAL PROHIBITIONS

<15> Posting so-called referrer links or affiliate links that can be traced back to a specific person and through which they receive benefits such as monetary services (example partner programs), points (example Thief Games), and the like, as well as links to illegal content, are prohibited. Requests or threads in this context will be removed by the moderators. Posting or linking viral code or similarly classified harmful code is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.

a Advertising threads for private homepages/communities, as well as advertising in general, are only possible after consultation with an administrator.

b Merchandise or advertising for social media channels in pictures, links, or mods is not allowed without the consent of the administration. This includes pictures and/or mods from streamers, YouTubers, and influencers, etc. The direct presentation of your TPF-based content in the respective forum areas is allowed.

c Links to file hosts or sites that violate legal provisions will be deleted by the team. Links to sites that copy our content will also be deleted.
