Belgische Züge - Belgian Trains

Hello everyone,

I'd like to first take some time to thank you all for this site and its community; it's been amazing to be able to download all these lovingly created models of DB & NS trains. I enjoy seeing them on my networks. However, as a Belgian, I was wondering if anyone would be willing or interested to try their hand at some of our models? I'd especially like:

- The HLE 13 "Tractis" or a repaint of the wonderful already made Siemens Vectron into NMBS colours
(fictitious, but could be based off of our EuroSprinters (NMBS HLE 18 class))
- The I11 or M6 carriages (ideally both!) with their control cars or 'steuerwagens'

That way, my small country would at least be able to see its most common, peak-hour trains represented in the game. If anyone is interested in making any of the following:

- the AM/MR80 'Sprinter'
- the AM/MR86
- the Desiro ML
- the AM/MR75

It would be fantastic too (especially considering the Desiro ML is rapidly becoming very common and the MR80/MR75/MR96 are really special to me personally), but they'd be more 'special treats' rather than mainline material considering their more limited amount & scope. I'd be happy to PayPal people for their effort, but I'm afraid that as a college student, I wouldn't be able to go over €25-50 or so per train, so it'd solely be as an incentive and to express my gratitude.

Here's hoping for some interested replies. Regardless, I'm enjoying all the models and repaints tremendously. And like many of you, I too await the ICE & ICE 3 with impatience.

I also have technical drawings & data of all the aforementioned trains, carriages & locs, which I'll be happy to translate and send/post if anyone is willing to try and make any of these things come to life in Train Fever. It'd be amazing to have the HLE11 to complete the amazing BeNeLux repaint of the ICr material of the NS that's already been made. Another way of doing things might be to try the AM96, which would be a great EMU to have. It can also serve as the base for an I11 model considering they share tons of similarities externally. Add a HLE18/13 or Vectron repaint to the I11, and you've got a modern NMBS/SNCB train that can handle speeds of 200km/h!

Here's hoping someone's willing to try any of these on. As I mentioned before, I'd gladly donate €50 tops to any modder that'll make an NMBS trainset or an EMU a reality out of sheer gratitude, but I'm afraid I can't go higher than that.

So sorry for getting back to you this late, I've been a bit busy with my midterms that're coming up fast. I'm PM'ing you the technical drawings as soon as this reply sends!

Here's hoping more people'll be interested once the Deutsche Bahn (and SBB/FFS/CFF.. and ÖBB.. and Trenitalia?) have been taken care of! After all, I remain convinced there’s a few trains we have that’d look great amongst the amazingly detailed material already made here and elsewhere for the DB, ÖBB, NS and RZD by modders. Again, anyone willing to try their hand at them would make a lovely holiday gift and I’d be happy to paypal them a small amount for their time! Especially the HLE11, which would give the BeNeLux carriages the loc it should've had. I tried asking people on Fiverr, but alas.

Anyway, loving the community, the ICE3 by Meister-Zogi, the RE460, the Plan T, the BR101 of course, ...
It's all wonderful stuff, and I hope one day to see my favorite AM96 & AM75 riding along.

Lastly, I'd like to add 'Gutes Neues Jahr!' to everyone and please, don't be discouraged because your English isn't good, I studied German for 4 years, so I can more or less understand German, I just don't speak it. But between your English and my German, we should have enough of a common ground to make mods!

Glad to hear you're willing to take the NMBS into consideration. Would you be willing to repaint the existing Siemens Vectron into a fictional NMBS paint? The NMBS has EuroSprinters operating as NMBS Class 18; seeing as the Vectron is the succeeding model of the ES, it wouldn't be that far of a stretch. Picture below!

Another thing I'd suggest is a repaint of the EW IV into i11-based NMBS carriages. Again, the similarities are as close as you'll get considering the existing models. Pictures:

I'd also like to ask the modders in general if they'd be interested in refining a model I've tried to make myself. I tried my hand at the AM96, but it's still horribly lacking. If anyone would be willing to take it over and try to finish it (for €50 tops), I'd be truly grateful. Plus, the components of the AM96 can be used to create the i11 carriages as well, so it'd help a lot for further modding!

Yes, been trying to get someone to mod it as well, the carriages already exist.

I've got a model of the AM/MR96 just about ready, but I'm looking for someone to texture it as well and doing tiny detailing, my texturing is godawful and I think the guy that -kindly- agreed to start on it is at his limits.
Anyone interested in helping out?
