Hi!
My game keeps crashing when zooming in on cities, and after several hours of troubleshooting and trying to fix this, I don't know what to do.
It started crashing yesterday, after playing for several hours, it just randomly crashed after upgrading a train to a new (modded) one. Thought it was a problem with the train, so loaded last save and didn't upgrade the train, but crashed anyway.
Now it keeps crashing about every 3-5 minutes, seemingly no matter what I do.
UPDATE: Seems like it crashes when zooming in on one of the cities. Didn't crash right away when I was in an area with not much happening, as I was playing for maybe 10-15 minutes in a "rural" area with only a bus line and a train line going through it. However, once I saved and moved the camera to one of the cities and zoomed in a bit, it crashed immidiatly.
Tried to google the issue, but the only results are either problems with an update from 2020 or a problem with Windows Defender, which I don't have running.
I've tried removing all vehicles from the map, reducing the graphics and removing mods, without any luck. Removing all mods results in a crash on loading screen. I have tried removing individual mods, but so far that hasn't had any effect.
Playing on an older save, with a lot more happening on screen, works fine, so it seems like it's just a problem with this map.
The first time it crashed I got this error message:
Exception type: Fatal error
Details:
Assertion Failure: Assertion 'it !=components.end()' failed.
The second time I crashed I got a different error, but it went away fairly quickly so I couldn't read it all and I don't remember what it said. When I crash now I just get the "An error just occured" message or no message at all.
I am playing with a lot of mods, and I suspect one or more of them to be the issue, but unfortunately I don't know for certain or if the case, which one it is. Also unfortunatley I don't really know how to read the stdout.txt file.
Any suggestions on what might be the problem as well as any help is most welcome.
