Help needed - Cargo question

    First of all thanks everyone who made all these awesome guides! Really nice work, and also the mods are awesome!


    That said, i still cant figure out one problem, i hope some1 has the answer. The guides where i think i can find this info are in German, wich could just as well be Chinese to me.


    Im trying to provide rescources for factories.
    These rescources are located in other areas of the map, so i for instance town1 got ore and coal, and in town2 is the factory.
    I have made a link between the 2 towns by train, an obviously i want to try and let the train deliver the coal and ore to this factory.


    I cannot get it to work whatever i do. Can this be done? If so, how?

    Hi.
    When you're going to ship products to a factory you have to make a station close to the producer and another one close to the factory and then link them together with a trainline.
    One thing I think you may not have done is to choose the cargostation instead of the passengerstation or you have put them too far away from the producer.
    Remember that it will take some time untill the producers start producing in big quantas, that depends on how effective your transport system is, over time. You can also ship the cargo from factories to cities by making another line from the factory and as close as possible to the industry area of the city. (Industry is the blue part of the city.)

    In addition it's important that everything has to be delivered in 20 minutes, thus you have 20 minutes for your ressources to bring them to the factory. This includes the time to get to the train or next truck station, the waiting time for the next train or truck and the journey time. Consequently your cycle time should be sufficiently small and you can only use ressources which are sufficiently close depending on the speed of your freight train or truck.
