Hello! I wanted to make a post since I'm new to the Train/Transport Fever Community. I have been playing similar games for years, namely Locomotion.
I thought I'd post a general topic that is interesting to me, in the hopes of riling up some interest in it, as I have never seen a mod for nor any real discussion on them. I'm talking about the "Red Devils". There were interurban railcars in Ohio, USA, that ran between the cities of Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland.
I looked through the forum rules and hope I'm not breaking any, I fear some things may have been lost in translation, but anyway, here is some information on the "Red Devils":

That is just a short wiki page on it, and oddly enough finding information on Red Devils is near impossible, as the majority of sites are ran individually from rail enthusiasts and very little information remains on the Red Devils.
The cars grew to fame in Ohio in the 1920s and 1930s as they had the fastest operating speed in the US, and during a publicity stunt a Red Devil raced an aircraft and won.
The Red Devil hit 91 mph (146 kph) during the trip.
Red Devils (after the collapse of the Cincinnati & Lake Erie Railroad) were also sold to other railroad and operated in Iowa. They have streamlined plows and other newer modifications, but are the same vehicles.

The below page has a side-by-side comparison of a Red Devil and a later-modified one in service in Iowa as well.

Thank you for reading! I just wanted to share a hobby of mine and also to bring into light what I consider to be a largely forgotten area of intercity transportation.
