Would it be possible to increase the number of "terminals" that can be added to the large airport? I think 3 is fine for a decently busy airport, however, for the sake of having a realistically sized airport to match the incredibly large cities I have been able to create, I think it would be wonderful to have 5 or 6.
A second variation I've thought of is adding a modern version of the medium airport by replacing the buildings with the large airport ones but retaining the single runway layout. The addition of the jet bridges would greatly improve the appearance of the airport in late game play.
My third and final idea to toy with is the possibility of changing the layout of the runways of the large airport. There are practically limitless ways to rearrange the runways. I think simply spacing them out is the easiest modification.
