axactly this ist the "problem". Your cargo-station 2.2!
This used a 4 lane street-connection, thats seved in the savegame... (forever).
The issue comes with a down/upgrade from 4 lane modern street to country-road.
Trust me... changes in streetconfig and/or street-connection are very tricky.

The first time had my mods installed and uninstalled.
The second time was with a fresh install of the game. My mod was never installed the second time. Again, this is NOT caused by my mod..

If you don't believe me, try it yourself. Verify the integrity of the game, generate a new map "EDIT: in 1950", upgarde the roads to the large road, save the game. Install Placeable buildings v.2.0, then reload the saved game and you will see the same thing. I used the seed xxxxx

If you are using a savegame.. if the there your mod was installed, and later uninstalled!? ;)

changes in the street-configs are very critikal, and have uncontrolable effect on savegame/new games.

The first time, the only thing installed was my new station, that's it. My station does not do anything to any roads so my mod is NOT causing this.

The last game I did, I verified the integrity of the game and all was fresh. I generates a map and upgraded the roads to the large road. I saved it, then installed Placeable buildings v.2.0 and the screen shots show what happened. Again, NO OTHER MODS INSTALLED.

The only thing I did to my station as far as the road was change the road it uses. I did NOT change any road files. This has NOTHING to do with my mod.

I will verify integrity of the game and try again.

Same thing after Verify Integrity of the Game. This happens when the roads are updated to the large roads. It doesn't effect any other roads. This time, as well as the first time, I upgraded the roads. then I tried your mod and this is what happens.

I tried to fix the roads and the game crashed.

I posted those image after I installed your mod so this DOES belong here.
Yes, I have my mod installed. I'll check again and see if it does it without my mod installed. But my mod is only a station so I don't see how it would matter, but i'll check again.

    I just uploaded a new version of this. This is the Change Log from the download page;

I created a second version that can be used when generating new maps so there aren't 2 of this station in the game. I did this because I wanted to release it as the default station so there isn't 2 of these in the build window but while testing it, the saved game kept crashing even tho I removed all of the other stations that were built already.

I also named them so you can tell which version is installed. The names are 'Truck station 2 Saved' and 'Truck station 2 Default'. The default version will overwrite the original files when used for a new map. The Saved version doesn't overwrite any files and would be used with saved games.

The paths at the read of the station were separated so the trucks on Line 2 don't block the trucks on Line 1 when they are leaving the station. I adjusted them using the 40 tonner because these are longer than the other trucks.

The Cargo Paths were adjusted so the station will hold more cargo while waiting to be picked up. The default station held 18 piece per side. Now it'll hold 33 pieces per side.

I also refined all the paths and adjusted all the models to be sure they align and look correct in game. This should be the final version.

The images below show how the trucks on Line 1 go thru the truck on Line 2 when leaving. This was the reason for making this. I just didn't know how to do it with the first version. I figured it all out and here it is.

I hope you all enjoy this and they help with the congestion that was at these station when selecting 'Wait for full load'. Please let me know what you think.

Really, is that what the vehicleNode does. I'll have to try that and hope you're right because I tried all everything I could. I will try this right away and report beck. If this works, doing stations will be easy as pie then. Thank you.

what I was wanting to try is make a station with 2 entry/exit but don't think it'll work. I'll experiment to see what can be done tho.

YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS, that was it baby!!!. thank you so very much. I was wrong. I thought the vehicleNode what how many segments there were in the path. Awesome, It works great now. I just have to adjust the position a bit and it'll be ready.

Next I need to figure out what the personNodes do because I have no idea on that. I just got a reply from Basil Weber explaining this more but I was half awake when I read it and not sure what he said. I have to reread it.

I also changed the paths from how I originally had them in this. Now I'm going to go back and see if it'll work the first way I made it. If it does, I'll have a LOT to do with station planned. I'm going to widen all of the roads and entrances and rework the path so the stations don't get so damn congested like this cargo station. I think you will all like them.

Here's a shot of it now. I'm just going to move the second stop up a tad so the last truck is straighter and it'll be done.

I've been working on this more trying to get the lanes separated in the back because the trucks get blocked by other waiting trucks.

I got it working like this but the trucks on line 3 stop in the wrong place and I can't get them to stop in the correct place. The trucks also jack-knife from stopping before the curve.

It does keep the rear lane open, with 3 40-ton trucks waiting, so the trucks on the other path can pass.

I'm going to try to get line 3 to stop before the curve but haven't been able to yet and I've been working on it for a few hours now.

I'm hoping I get this figured out because I think it would work even better.

I changed out the file to this because when the default station is used, the lanes look wrong because I changed them to look correct with 4 lanes. Now it doesn't overwrite anything and it all looks correct.

strangely I always end up with a lot of Dutch trains.

Would it be safe to say that you are Dutch then?

    I understand the Node part but the Edges have me confused now because in the Cargo station I've been working on has this;

So where do they get the { 44 } and { 52 } for personNodes from and where do they get the { 22,23,24 } for the personEdges? I don't get it. There is only 7 segments in the path on each side so how can it be 44 and the edges 22,23,24 and so on. By what he wrote to you, can you explain this? I don't know if cargo is different or not but this is what is in the cargo_medium_old.mdl. This is something I need to know because I want to make some new stations.

Did he tell you what the last number in the lines meant?

Good to see you here modding for TF. I hope you have a better experience here than you did in the Locomotion forums. I got fed up and left myself but I do visit from time to time still.

EDIT: After studying all of this further, I understand the personEdges now but the personNodes is still confusing for this cargo station. I just don't see where the 44 and 52 are derived from. I also don't understand what - (it's a zero-based index) - means.

Nice station Oppie. The one to ask would probably be DasMatze. He seems to be the one who knows a lot about the game and might know. If you do find out how to figure the numbers, please write back here to let others, including me, know how it's done. I know how to figure the paths but what those numbers mean, I have no idea.

    Thanks

btw, are you the same Oppie that was/is in the Lomo forums?

    EDIT: I looked at a station and I do know what the { personNodes = { 5 } means. I don't know what the personEdges = { 3, 7 } mean tho.
The personNodes are how many start and/or end points are in the path. In each set of numbers that describe the paths, there are 4 set sets of numbers in parentices, plus the last number. In each line, like you prolly already know, defines the path. So you would count how many sections there are. You have 5, so there should be 4 lines of numbers. space, and 4 more, right. One for each side. So that's how you figure the Nodes but you have to add 1 more for the end point, which is in the last line, second set of numbers in { }. That makes it 5. In Max, if you were to create a line, each line has 2 vertices, if you drew 4 sections in the line, you'd have 5 vertices. Same with the Nodes here.

I hope I explained that well enough for you to understand.

    Hello,

While working on my All Large Roads mod, I had to change the stations to work with 4 lane roads. I had trouble at first with the lanes but found that I forgot to change one of the paths and that's why I couldn't get it to work. Now I got it to work and felt I could release it. I was going to release this with my ALR mod but thought it a good idea to release it separately. This should help with some congestion since the default station only has 2 lanes to enter and exit.

Please let me know what you think and if it works well for you.

    Cargo Station 2

    Hello, I like what you've done here, the Engine Shed. Very nice. Did you ever try to make one with four lanes going into an out of it? Like this;

I don't see anything like this so am wondering if you tried to do it or not. Basically I want to know if it is possible or am I wasting my time? The middle lanes will not work.

I'd appreciate any help and thank you...
