Yeah, like these, another possibility would be GN in Big Sky Blue. I was already wondering if it's possible to make non corrugated cars, would be great if it would be.

Guckst Du hier.

Really looking forward to this, would you consider repainting cars in GN/NP/UP etc. colors once you are done with the Amtrak stuff? Would be great to build some colorful consists of the Amtrak rainbow era.

Baureihe 52, in Norwegen Type 63a.

Railjet might be "175 Jahre Eisenbahn in Österreich".I'd suggest, that you stick with panetone 102c for the yellow, cause that is what the original paint was based on and try to get the green from Train Master.
-
I didn' find any information about which kind of green they used, maybe you wanna try something like deep Brunswick green?
Perhaps @donoteat can tell us which green he used for the CNW Train Master.
Edit: found two others, quite difficult to find the right one
1, 2 -
I think the green is good, not entirely sure about the yellow, as CNW went for a brighter yellow (providing better visibility) on their locomotives in the early 80's and the yellow you mentioned might be a tad too dark.
Did a bit of research and found pantone 102c, I think something like this or this should be the right one.Regarding the font type used for numberboards, I do not have a single clue.
-
Chose a bad picture there, that black is actually a dark green. Some more pictures, another one, and one more.
Edit: this one looks pretty much perfect imho
Thx for your efforts. -
Of course european locomotives don't have lights, that's why over here all trains have to stop immediately once the sun goes down...
-
well, the Burlington Northern is already in @DukeaufDune repaint pack
Yeah, I already got that repaint pack, but BN's SD40-2 didn't have that distinctive "tiger face" the SD60 got. I guess you want to make something more different from stuff that's already available?
PS: I sent donoteat a PM and the PSD files for Train Master locomotive seem to be lost due to a crashed HDD
-
My favorites for the SD60 are Chicago and North Western (there are a lot of pictures where the yellow paint nearly turned white, due to poor paint quality, I'd prefer a more vibrant "as new" yellow)
and
Burlington Northern (BN only had 3 SD60 in duty, owned by EMD, so quite rare).Would be great, if you'd take care of these repaints.
-
Bad news,I guess that narrows it down to the SD60 by DasMatze, which seems to be the only US-locomotive with PSD available (FM Trainmaster could also be an alternative, once Donoteat finds the PSD files) . Would you consider repainting one of these?

Won't you do the GP9 because you don't like the locomotive itself or because you don't like the schemes? If the latter one's the case, you might find some others here. Perhaps you didn't already know that site.
-
I don't know if you are also interested in US-stuff, but if, I'd suggest things like:
Southern Pacific GP9 Black Widow scheme
Southern Pacific ALCO PA Daylight scheme
or
Western Pacific GP9 silver/orangeespecially the GP9's are much more appropriate for desert-like setting than the SOO-Line like DLC-GP9 imho

@Licaon
Either the 0-8-0 or even the smaller USRA 0-6-0, I think 0-8-0 would be very close to the Mikado's power, but much slower. Anyway I noticed this gap too, as I began a game starting in 1900 and got several times into a position where I had to replace Baldwin 56 and just couldnt do that, because only non-electric locomotives were 4-12-2 and MILW Hiawatha. I considered both of them not to be an adequate replacement...@Spacek531
Really looking forward to the RS-3. I did already mention it's my favorite US-locomotive, didn't I?
