EDIT: made some progress with the THURBO repaint

to do list:
- model_small
- icons on the doors (on the windows)(looking for good images of them)
- improve the rivets (the color black makes it difficult to show them correctly)

started the work on the second stadler gtw 2/6 emu

decided to do the Thurbo version now, the RABe 526.7
below an early WIP image

got a question about the doors, i see versions with red and purple doors (image) and versions with green and yellow doors (image)
so have all 4 doors different colors and are those images from different sides of the train or are there 2 different trains?

got the rivets sorted out now

started the work on the first stadler gtw 2/6 electrical unit

decided to do the arriva version first, so i can use the same textures as in the diesel version
still need to redesign the normal map for the powerunit

used image 1 and image 2 to do it
only need to get the rivets on it, any ideas how to make that look good?

it is a german ICE, but i dont know if it currently is on this site

started working on the Vinschgaubahn repaint again

EDIT: made some nice progress today. 1 side is largely done now
the roof markings are no 100% match to the originial, had to recreate in manually using image 1 and image 2

need to tweak some minor details with the paintjob
and need to give it the correct data (topspeed, power, etc)

i don't repaint original TF models

from 6 April till 17 April i will be away from TF because of exams

Concerning the Vinschgaubahn repaint
not going to register there, i've got the colours so it will be a bit more manual work

Concerning the Denton A-train repaint
it is almost finished, need to adjust the mapping a bit in blender

EDIT: the DCTA A-train repaint is released

the problem is that the resolution of that is 380x41, while for the train i would need about 1500x60
so if i need to make it manually (which i can do) it will take some time before i get finished with it

gonna work on the A-Train first i think, but i will keep working on the Vinschgaubahn repaint also.

as can been seen on the image i have reworked the engine unit (not sure whether or not existing gtw's will receive that update)
spotted another mapping issue, so more blender time ahead

@Tim1504 that site you gave me, requires me to log in before being able to download those "dachmarke" but i cannot find a place to register

The american repaint i referred to was a request from @marsianer112 , a stadler gtw 2/6

I won't do the desiro repaint

Concerning the A-train, i will put it on my list, more american trains doesn't hurt. And that train does look great

can have a look at electric versions of the GTW after i have finished the Vinschgaubahn repaint
probably need to rename a few files from the original mod

as concerning the grey, i think i keep the colours i have now (unless i find the exact colour codes)

will start updating have updated my GTW's now,
@Merk fix indeed works, but it still is a fault in the game
as long as a train has both a diesel and an eletric engine it shouldn't matter whether or not the track is electrified
