well, i have been succesfull in reproducing the issue
seems like it only is a visual issue, could be a bug in trainfever

it only happens with the MetroRail version?
if it happens with all versions it could be a fault in the mod, but if it is only this version i dont know what the issue is.

can you provide some screenshots?

the Tram is in the street menu, so i believe it belongs to the streets and thus to "Truck Forever"

Do you get an error message? (and its a GTW , not a flirt)

a very early WIP image of the Capital MetroRail repaint, we just need more american trains
the mapping of the front can be quite frustrating at times as can be seen

decided to spend some more time in blender to mess around with the mapping of the front a bit.

that one is for sure on my list, but first making an "easier" repaint to get to know the model, know the uv-map

i have tidied the tga file and are gonna start the first repaint: Stadler GTW 2/6 ODEG (i just the colours of ODEG)
i also need to change the door animations so they only open on platform side

EDIT: performed a trick with the model_small:
made front and back 2 pixels wide and the power diesel now shows the train, the back is no longer reversed (it still is but you just cant see it )

EDIT: added a new image for the front
still needs some work, bu you can see the new headlights

EDIT: still got some problems left (see GTW_issues.jpg)
1. 4 wheels showing in the middle, should be just 2 (most of the times you dont see it, think i leave it like this)
2. need to place 2 grates on the powerunit as can be seen on 2015-03-27_00008.jpg i have finished my work on the powerunit
3. for some reason (prob uv-map issue) the text appears correctly on 1 side and not on the other side) remapped the side part so the text shows correctly
4. add door animations doors now only open on platform side

EDIT: probably gonna release the model later today (28/03), still need to add some small things to the texture

EDIT: renaming complete, decided to give the front and the back seperate textures if needed
only issue remaining is the one you can see in the image

and i need to clean up the tga file, you can still see bits of stadler flirt hlb textures

after some repaint testing of the wagons i have decided to not repaint the ICR carriages to a IC direct skin
if anyone else want to do that repaint i don't care

for a try i used this flag but i am not happy about the results

the Intercity Direct repaint is now awaiting approval

Not ruling that one out yet, but first need to have a look at the tga dile and the mapping of that train

i agree with @Finsternis this train isn't beautiful
The windows are not in 1 line, which i find very ugly, the front is up for discussion but still pretty ugly according to my opinion
