I did watch Allegoritchmic Youtube tutorials when I tried the trial, here is their channel: https://www.youtube.com/channe…&ab_channel=Allegorithmic
They have really nice tutorials which helped me a lot and also I checked this tutorial which was inspiring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?…c&ab_channel=DylanMellott
I don't make hipoly models, I only have lowpoly mesh and do everything "manually". For complex details I create black/gray/white textures in Photoshop depending what height I want the detail to be and for the rest I use different kind of brushes. And when I have created every texture, I bump up the details with AO map. In Photoshop I copy AO map and paste it to albedo opacity map, multiply, darken it a little and after I merge it to albedo opacity, I also sharpen the texture.

Thanks
I haven't used hipoly model for the normal map, it's all done in Substance Painter which does superb job without hipoly mesh.
Stake car Ok almost done aswell...
Edit:
Is it possible to replace small cargo units with bigger ones? For example tools, there are small containers and large, is it possible to replace small containers with large when the stake car gets full cargo?

This is how they were painted back in the days, they are very greenish I do agree, but still don't want to paint them in any other style
Atleast those red sockets bring some life to it

Time to open a thread where I will show what I got under work. I am modelling mostly Finnish models for Nordic DLC and some of them I will also share here in the downloads section and Steam Workshop.
I have bunch of models under work which I will finish first before I start new one. There are so much models I'd want to do which has created pile of models that I have started... Time to finish those
First set I will finish are stake cars O and its variant/improved model Ok which was 1m shorter than O but it had better structure and could carry heavier loads (O 20t and Ok 30t).
Details:
Stake car O:
Max speed: 60 kph
Capacity: 9 game units
Available: 1878-1924Stake Car Ok:
Max speed: 80 kph
Capacity: 11 game units
Available: 1920-1970 -

Almost finished this little bugger, Finnish open wagon M from 1860s

Thanks Grimes, that is weird issue which I couldn't make happen in my games.
@Yanniboy Try downloading the update and report back if that fixes the issue, I haven't got any other messages about this issue after the update.

I have bunch of models I've started for the DLC, some more done than others. Finnish wagons and locomotives, most of them will be exclusive for the DLC and some will be available in Steam and here.
So first one... Stake car "H" from 1860s.
InterCity2 and the other one is coach from my old Blue Coach set and will be revised
Diesel locomotives Dr12 and Dv12
Yes I know I should finish one model first before starting another one... but I do also like to work several models at the same time even it means progress is slow
