@Nando and @kaleut1988 were kind enough to use their container asset as cargo, thanks guys!

Looks good to me!

That's a bit tricky one, I would create black/white textures in PS and then use those in Substance Painter. Though what I can see, you already seem to have some details on that area which looks good to me

Incase you're wondering when making textures for normal maps and getting correct heights. Max height is white (255,255,255) and lowest height is black (0,0,0)

Your normal maps looks fine to me

Is there some specific area that you're not satisfied how it looks?

And back to business again, passenger coach is on hold at the moment, will have to remodel it. Found better blueprints and noticed with them that it had quite a few areas that were inaccurate. The model was originally one of my old which I recycled. Anyways this cargo wagon has been waiting to get under work too, Gbk from 1965

In the .mdl file, lod order is not correct after export. TpF should have Lod2 first
Not sure if you already mentioned this in your post but material path is wrong in the .msh file, it's missing folders. It only will have the material filename. Or is it something I have missed in the options?
But it's big improvement compared to the old script, keep up the good work

Ah thanks for confirming, that's quite handy

Managed to fix my issue but if somebody has this problem, I'll write it down here. The problem was, I didn't define axle for every lod and it made cargo behave weirdly.
Problem with my wagon was that it didn't show its cargo correctly. I've made it carry either construction materials, goods, logs, machines, planks, plastic, steel or tools.
If I only had Lod 0 in the .mdl file, cargo shows correctly but when the .mdl file had more lods, it showed every cargo like this:
And lod 1 and 2 look like this, train is not having full load, only half of its wagons should carry plastic containers:
With only lod 0 in the .mdl file, everything works fine like this:

The stock european stake wagon has some interesting functions in its mdl file, does anyone know what these do? They are used in the transfer line and affect how cargo is loaded, I'm having some issues with my stake car and was wondering if these would solve my issue.
