Sajnos a játék korlátossága miatt vegyesen csináltam, illetve a villamospályát is próbáltam középen vezetni... -
Pontosítottam a vízrajzi részét, illetve "maszatolós" cuccal kisimítottam a pixelességet.
A Wikipediáról leszedett Szeged SVG képet szintén hozzáadtam, átszíneztem, emiatt a térképen látszanak a főbb utak, illetve a város határa, kicsit megkönnyítve a tájékozódást.

well the 'London' version is finished, I also fixed the other repaints as well (grün-NS): I fixed the bistro car doors and normalmap, also fixed the DB logos on the Grün version.
Now I am collecting info on the refurbished version, I think this video is a good source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EW-ScUw7OUY (from 1:30)
Also thinking about that I should touch the files a bit more, to make different textures for the different cars. Now there are only 3 texture files: the "head" unit, the bistro car and the rest of the train. I'd like to make at least 2 additional texture files: one new for the "power" car only and one new for the normal car so there will be 2 different version of normal car, a different "power" car, a head unit and the bistro textures. That is 5 texture files instead of 3.
I hope Stepke is allowing to do this. I hope I can figure out what files to change to make this work. If not, then I will post a not-so realistic repaint, with small differences from the original. -
The head unit so far (the whole train is almost finished, only some minor update is necessary):
-
No, the ICE 3M is the international version with more "power" cars.
(Class 406; M for multisystem) was developed to operate international services under the four different railway electrification systems in use on Europe's main lines and with support for various train protection systems (25kV 50Hz or 3kV DC or 15 kV 16,7 Hz or 1,5 kV DC).I want to make the British ICE logo repaint (image: https://static1.squarespace.co…/chunnelhighspeedrail.jpg) to make a train which is for "international" lines for DB, especially since there are no Eurostar trains yet. I will try making the refurbished repaint version as well then
I am not sure if this signature version is worth to make, because these are so small, not sure if it would be spectacular/visible in the game but I will try to do something later -
I'll probably start the schwäbisch hall 4685 ICE 3M repaint today, the "London" version from 2010.
Any thoughts about that? -
Released, I updated the previous entry.
-
Okay, then I will release it as a full mod, I will add it to the previous uploads.
-
Danke @Stepke !
I modified the Grün version a bit since the last pictures, I made one side of the head unit a 2nd class, other side of it is still 1st class.
Sadly I couldn't do this to the power unit, because they use the same texture as the rest of the train. It would look strange. I didn't want to modify the original mod that much (add different texture file for the power unit).
I modified the green color, tried to match it with the official color (still different a little bit because of the background color), added new stickers and signs.Oh, I used this video as an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSnDnmp5sI8
Can I ask anyone what should I do to upload the mod like a repaint only, and not upload the whole mod? I mean what if the model will be updated? I have to update my repaints as well, because they contain the "old" model.

I used 'brushed aluminium silver metal' texture to replace the gray part, now it is more "alive" and finally looks good on the whole trainset.

Okay, I tested the map and it looks good enough. However map generating failed at first for me (tpf.exe has stopped working), but I found out it was caused by a mod.
The shoreline is a bit pixelated, but remember: I resized the whole image to 6K. The mountains/hills are not pixelated, but I had to add 3.5% Gaussian blur to the heightmap image. Rivers cannot be created by the map editor, so you must add them manually. I added 6-7 cities by default, if you tell me what cities do you want, I will add.
the heightmap looks like this:
-
So: I haven't found a height map for this region BUT, I am trying to make it differently. I did cut out the region from my huge EU heightmap and made it 6K in Photoshop.
I will try it out soon and I will tell you about the results. My questions: What cities do you want to be on the map? However I probably will not be able to create rivers or such, you have to create them manually with mods for your game if you want them.By the way for a map you have to get a heightmap. There are good sources for them, only good one I know is the OpenTTD website, but this region is just not there...

Since I am not fully satisfied with the ETR 400 grey color, I am experimenting some things in Photoshop to make it more like a glossy metal color.
This is NOT the final state but I felt I have to share the results what I did so far.

I was testing out the settings and this happened.
Hope it is useful. -
Good news!
Thanks for the info, I am glad I didn't start it yet.
