Hi! Sorry for the English language, but I have some idea for the game and I couldn't find other thread about wishlists.
Mainly I want to develop airports in the game.
I think we need some more customizable building mode for them, to make more complex and realistic airports (this is important mainly in the late game).
For example, we should have independent, customly placed runways (only runways). They should be different, standard sized, for example, minimum of 1500m length for small passenger jets, like Boeing 737/Airbus A320. Even smaller asphalt, or grass strips for small planes (for example in early game).
Bigger runways, like 3000+ meters long for bigger and heavier planes.
For example 5-6 size category and 3 material category (asphalt, concrete, grass)
Runways should get custom numbers, like 09R, if we build 2 runways along for example in 90 degrees, right side (East-West) direction (the other side is 27L, as 270 degrees, left side).
We could choose only runway, or runway with taxiway. If we choose runway without taxiway, we could customly build them within rules, like roads or railway tracks (of course take maximum angle, minimum radius, maximum slope etc. into consideration) to connect the aprons to the runway.
We could build big main terminal building, and then attach customizable length and angled additional building with gates and aprons (standardized sizes for different plane size categories, like small passenger jet, large passenger jet, turboprop small, etc.).
We could build aprons without gates, they are served with aiport buses (their route is pre-determined to the terminal) or just boarding buildings in the middle of the apron, separated from the main terminal building, with underground connection for passengers (no buses etc. needed).
We could attach underground (or same level) railway stations to the main terminal building (optional, underground station mod exists)
I hope this is possible and the airport part of the game would be more exciting and even more moddable. It could be the "Airport patch".
