I uploaded the files, just waiting for approval. Meanwhile here's the thumbnail.

More progress.

Sorry for lack of progress, I honestly lack the motivation. The Metroliner will be done in the near future.
The textures are mostly done, and I've also edited the model to lower the pantograph, so I could reconfigure the consist to use four Metroliner cars instead of having to use Amfleets which looked out of place. -
Is it possible to have tram tracks positioned in the center of large streets like below, instead of off to the side?

So below is my current progress of the Metroliner. I haven't done anything to it for a while, except for the headlight glow, which I'm planning to keep off, since I can't get it to look decent here. The main things I've done are desaturating the silver metal areas, slapping on better windows and Phase II stripes to match the front paint. I've rearranged the consist, so now it uses two Metroliner power cars at each end and two Amfleet cars in the middle. I tried to make the Amfleets fit in with the powercars with similar textures and replacing the Amfleet trucks (bogeys) with the ones from the Metroliner. It's the closest I can get to the real life trainset, since I don't have any modeling ability. I've also added in an RS3L horn sound, though I'm not sure what horn they actually had. I'll release this as a stand-alone mod once I finish it.

That's basically what I did. If you're using Photoshop then you could add an outer glow layer style to the headlight layer to make it seem more like the lights on. Like I said earlier, it looks best when the sunlight is shining on it. Also, my upload finally got approved, so it should be on the site soon.

For the headlights, I simply textured a "glow" over the lenses to create the illusion that they're turned on. Looks pretty legit when the sun is facing the front of the train. The downside is that it's mapped to both ends of the locomotive, but it isn't that noticeable on the rear of the AEM-7. You can do it as you please. As for the ditch lights, they do look pretty similar to yours, but I made them from the regular headlights.
The 4 door Amfleet I coach can be found on the Russian Train Fever site, but I think you found it already. -
As of this post I'm leaving for California in 5 hours, so I scrambled and threw together some stuff so you can at least download some of the work I've been doing, and not wait for 9+ days. These things below I felt were easiest to complete and are included in the filebase entry I just submitted. I'm just happy that I finally uploaded something. The reworked Metroliner, HHP and heritage cars will probably come much later.

Sorry about that, it's my fault for not posting updates recently, much less actually working on the mod. I just wanted to have everything done so I could release it in one package instead of having to download multiple files.

Finally, some progress!

no supports needed

It's coming along nicely so far! For suggestions I think you could move the maker lights slightly lower and make the roof a little more round.

That looks pretty nice! Also, I've just been working on my pack slowly, I'm planning to release it soon.
I've attached some vectors of New Haven logos and lettering here if you would like to use it in your repaint, so it can be more realistic.

1 and 3 are white versions, so you probably can't see them in your browser. -
I've completed the textures for the AEM-7 Phase V repaint, and here's a sound test with a new horn:

Yeah, I'm planning to release the Genesis repaints seperately so that I can release this pack sooner. I'll try to get this done so I can release it by the end of the weekend, since I've been taking way too long on this.

A little update:

Something like these?

I might do these after this Amtrak pack. Shouldn't be too hard once I make a blank template for non-corrugated variants. Also, here's a quick test with Phase IV stripes. -
Sorry I haven't been posting much, but I've mostly done the Phase III heritage repaint. I retextured and remapped the corrugations, as they were kind of ugly originally.
-
I haven't really done much since I last posted because I've been busy with other things recently. I'm planning to repaint the Golden Sand coach to Phase III and IV and the Amfleet to Phase IV, since there are already textures for that which are unused.

This tree does not care at all.
