Hello, I've got a few questions regarding the roads.
Currently I have 3 cities, lets call them A,B,C.
B and C are connected by rail and road.
A and B are connected by road (with bus)
A and C are connected by the roads above.With the current main roads I wanted to play around with the idea of a highway, so I made one with the construction seen above. It just gives me 2 problems:
- It kills passenger transport by train. (even with busses feeding the station)-The intersection between A,B,C clogs up because noone desides to take the trains.
So I can't remove the roads because of the main connection (which is fine, just like reallife), and it kills the traintransport, I would like to play trainfever, not busfever this way
So the questions are:
Is there a way to keep having a decent profit with trains and a highway. (Do I have to suck it up till my trains can go faster? Its 1980 and their speed isnt super)
Are there any mods or ideas to build a intersection which can stop or lessen intersection jamming (without lowering carspeed)
Is there a way to make the game stop updating my country roads into cityroads?
