    Hi,

Currently working on the older trains. SJ class D work in progress:

The modern trains will have to wait until these older vehicles are finsished and published:

    Class D

    Class F

    Class Ra

    30s passanger coaches

    60s passanger coaches

Thanks for the replies! Interesting to see. So in Germany, the signal is showing if the train detector succesfully detected the train it seems. In Sweden, the train is detected by a track circuits, and not a single point detector, so our technology is a bit more old fashion in a way. Also most crossings here are still operated by relay circuits, but they are slowly being replaced by modern computer based systems.

    Hello,

In Sweden where I live, there is a signal at every railway crossing, that indicates to the train if the gates and warning lights are activated correctly. There is also a distant signal about 1000m away so that trains have a chance of slowing down if the railway crossing isn't working.

Is there a similar system in other countries? I assume there is, but I havn't been able to find any information about this.

I'm currently finishing the X2000. After that, I will do locomotives and coaches from the era 1930-1980. If you want to contribute to more models, I'm more than happy to help. Either you can start modeling yourself, or you can commission a model. The T43 got made this way, for a sum of money.

    X2000 work in progress

Older vehicles work in progress that has been posted earlier in the thread

according to Seamon the er1 is to different so a simply repaint wont work sadly

Yes, ER1 has cab driver doors, different window layout and single doors instead of double doors. Maybe there are more differences.

Måste säga är sjukt imponerad av det du gör, otroligt snyggt och detaljerat

    Tack så mycket!

Amazing work! Can't wait for the X60 and the X2000!

What is the status on the X60/X61/X62? Any estimated time of release?

By the way, please provide us a way to support your work. It is truly amazing.

Thank you very much! There is a donate link in my signature, and in the mod descriptions on Steam Workshop. All support is really appreciated!

The X60/X61/X62 commuter trains are now available for download in the workshop.

Hey thats a gorgeous job! Any chance, if its released, we could get an Amtrak version? The states tested one here in the 90s.

    Thankyou!

Yes, there will be an Amtrak version. I will try to include all main versions, like the chinese one, Linx, NSB etc.

Will there also be a x2c/ nya x2000

Which looks and sounds different (way less fan sounds)

The new X2000 will also be included. But the only custom sound effects I do is horn and door opening/closing sounds. The engine sound will be the standard TF2 sound.

I've also been working on another project for a while, that is getting close to completion. Probably the most important train for a Swedish modern gameplay, after the Rc.locomotive. The high speed train X2000.

This is the original colour scheme. The newer ones will be included as well. I know there already is an X2000 mod in the Workshop, but It's just too innacurate for me.

Also, I know I really need to finish my projects before starting new ones. The list of unfinished vehicles is getting very long now :S

How much does the X60 differ in components to the X61/62 beyond light variations and the fewer sections?

The biggest difference is the floor height. X60 has a higher floor than X61 and 62, which makes the doors slightly shorter on X60. And all the windows on X60 are all the same whereas the middle windows in every section on X61/X62 are larger and sits lower because of the lower floor.

The front is also different in that X60 has a slightly higher and more curved roof at the fronts.

The components on the roof are mostly the same but a little more spaced out on the X60. X60 also has three transformers whereas X61/X62 only has two. Some components look different, like the cooling fans visible in my image above. Then there are the small details like the coupling covers. The footsteps and handlebars at the front on X60 that is missing on X61/X62. And the different layouts of the top headlights.

X60 has no toilets. X61 has a single toilet and X62 has two toilets and a small bistro. There are no windows where the bistro and the toilets are situated.

Then there are differences within X61, like the different number of doors on the Västtrafik one compared to the ones from Östgötatrafiken and Skånetrafiken. And the interiors are different in all versions.

Then there is X60B that is basically an X60, but with the cab roof shape, headlights layout and roof components from X61. X60B will not be included in the mod, at least initially.

Hope that cleared things up. :P

The work is truly incredible well done and makes the wait well worth it but got a question ive not seen answered. For the Swedish signal mod would it be possible to add the 4/5 light intermediate signals catenary signals or do they dont fit with how TF2 handles placement of singals?

Thank you for your kind words. :)

It's totally possible to add 4 and 5 light intermediate signals for catenary but it's not my priority right now. But I have thought about udating the signals mod. There is a feature now in the game that makes it possible to sort signals by categories. I might add that to the signals mod, and maybe I could add some more signals at the same time.

I recently got some very generous donations and I just want to say thankyou very much for the support. It really means a lot.

X60 not finished yet, but getting really close now!

    Beautiful work Anton!

Is there any plans for the 60's style passenger cars?

Also is it long until we see the Rapid?

    Keep up the amazing work👏👏

    Thank you!

Yes, when it comes to passenger cars, the 60's style passenger cars will probably be next after I'm done with the 30's style passenger cars. And the Rapid locomotive will fit those nicely so that will be done at the same time. First, I want to finish litt D and F together with the 30's style passenger cars. However, I'm trying to finish X60 before continuning with the older vehicles.

Here are som more pictures of the passenger cars. Interiors are still missing.

    Hi

Some progress have been made on X60/X61/X62.

I hope to finnish this mod as soon as possible now. I's been too long since I started the project. Next project after this will be X50/X51/X52/X53/X55 and also X31 Öresundståg since they share a lot of details like bogies, window placement and roof details.

    Öresundståg X31 work in progress.

I've also been working on older passanger coaches lately. My previous 30's passenger coaches have been completely remodeled. Some work remains before they are finished, mostly interior models.

    3rd class coach (1930s version)

    Restaurant coach (1930s version)

    1st and 2nd class coach (1970s version)

These coaches will need appropriate engines, so I'm also working on a couple of vintage electric engines class D and F. (1934 and 1945).

    Until next time!

To finally get T43s is amazing and not something I expected to see at this date. Do you have any plans to revisit older mods for updates? Like for example T66s oversaturated lights?

The lights on T66 should be fixed now.

I have no plans on updating the mods in the Workshop, unless there are bugs that need fixing ofcourse. But I am revising my old mods from Train Fever. I've only done class Ra so far, but hopefully I'll be able to update all the passanger coaches as well.

    Hi,

Some progress has been made on X60/X61/X62. But unfortunatly some things still needs to be done. I hope to be able to finish it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, I got a commision to do the swedish diesel engine T43. The model is almost finished and will soon be published in the workshop.

hello! i have once again stolen this thread to showcase one of my WIPs. me and Adrii95 are working on a DA modeling is done by him, and textures by me.ii95

    Ad

Nice work! I'm really happy to see more swedish material being made for the game. :)

Gött att du återfunnit motivationen. Jag väntar mycket på Västtrafiken, sedan vill jag nämna att jag har ett minne av ett kraftfullt malmtåg, som jag tror du skapade en gång i tiden för Trainfever, stämmer det?

LKAB IORE was available for Train Fever but not made by me. Link to the mod. Maybe someone can get permission to convert it for TPF2?

    Regards,

    Anton

    Hi

I recently recieved a couple of donations that really motivated me to continue work on the X60/X61/X62 commuter trains. Thank you very much for that.

I'm currently working on the texures. What is left to do is all the equipement on the roofs, and some interiors for X61 and X62.

    From left to right:

X60 Commuter train SL pendeltåg (Stockholm region)

X61 Commuter train Skånetrafiken Pågatåg (Malmö region)

    X61 Commuter train Östgötapendeln (Norrköping/Linköping)

    X62 Regional train Norrtåg (Umeå/Sundsvall)

X61 Commuter train Västtrafik Västtågen (Göteborg region)
