    Hi Ibn - Try taking a look at my class 321 or class 150 mods. One way I got around the 'train departs before the doors close' issue is to have all of my animations last for 8 seconds - e.g. the train doors might be closed by 5 seconds however the animations is still 'playing' for another 3 seconds. If you have multiple animations happening on a particular event, such as lights turning on/off, I beleive the game sends the vehicle on its way when the shortest animation completes. So try making all your animations longer and the same length, and see if that works for you :)

    Hello! Thank you for your explanation. Actually I use your 377 class as the reference. Now I put all of the doors animation in the same length and the door closed before the train moves.


    Literally my Comeng train is like that. I take it as realism since the Comeng train when you want to open the door you have to push it

    Thank you for giving me a clue for the animation speed. I just figured out the animation speed is can't be different with the open and close. So it solved now.

    Yes of course it's there, if it's not in there the error would be I/O error. I use the staging_area folder to make me easiear to update and upload the mod. So I don't have to copy paste it from another folder.

    It's been a long time. So here I have a problem with the doors animation. I have just created a Train and relesead in steam. Here is the link https://steamcommunity.com/sha…filedetails/?id=227111380. But I have a problem with the animation and the soundsets.


    First the animation problem is when the train stop before the doors open the passenger already board the train. Also when the train about to leave the door is not fully close yet the train already move. I have tried many ways to fix it but the outcome is still the same, it's kinda frustrating.


    Second is the sound problem. In stdout.txt i got this problem. I have tried to re-export the audio, changing name, and many more the error is still there. The problem is :
    WARNING: alutCreateBufferFromFile failed for "D:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/161615588/1066780/local/staging_area/comengtrain_1/res/audio/effects/vehicle/train/comeng/dooropen.wav": There was already an AL error on entry to an ALUT function (code 0x205)


    I hope there is some explanation to solve this. Because I have made many buses and there are no problem with it. This is new to me. I included my .mdl file to make it easier to see the problem. Thank you

    to be honest I dont know that trick, i really new with the blender. It really great for me to know this one, before that I must rotate in 3dsmax and then rotate it in blender again :/

    Yes, i've just checked that and not all of them "0". Maybe because I working with 3ds max and I export it to blender. So if it not "0" the camera still in wrong orientation ?


    I found how to fix it. I just need to put the all "0" orientation mesh to the top of the lod in .mdl file, and it change the orientation to correct position.

    Hello again folks !


    Its been a long time I didnt post anything. Now after all this time I be able to create mod and its working fine in Tpf, so I would like to say thanks first to the people who helped me out before. And now I have another problem, just like the title say. The camera orientation is wrong like this


    the bus is correct

    I already do some experiment with the .mdl file but it still like that. Is it because the orientation of mesh or something else ?

    actually the front wheel is the w1left and right. I was tried to make tri-axle *idk how to say it in english* turning but looks like it causing the steering dont work. Let me try to fix it again


    i change the wheels from using w1left and right into w1right only and duplicate it. And I change the wheels too but It still wont turn :/

    ahh right, it my bad habits. So here the new one, now i put all of .mdl data inside


    I already fix some problem and then add animation to the wheels and the front door. The help was really helpful

    But i got another issue, the wheels can roll but when it turn it dont wanna turn.

    I use separate right and left wheels for the front axle and rear axle. I was trying to use the fake boggies and the result is become worse, my bus can drifting in every curve :D

    The difference of time make me late to reply


    Do you get an error message? What is written in the stdout.txt immediately after a Crash?

    thank you nando! now I can see the error that causing the game crashed. Yeah the cost is missing from the .mdl just like MaikC said


    This, and i had a crash directly while loading my savegame because of missing costs in the mdl of the bus:

    And the bus has far too many tris. The 16,000 Tris you only needed for the front tires should actually be enough for the complete bus ... Seamon builds from that 2 buses (insider)

    hehehe yeah I still trying to reduce the tris, because I use Inventor to make the wheel and it make it soooo many tris. Since my polygon cruncher in 3ds max isnt working so I'll find the another way around. Btw I like Seamon Buses its great hahaha

    Hi Folks


    Last time I already figure out why my model is wont appear in Model Viewer because the .mtl file. Now my model can appear in model viewer but there is a warning on the CMD about the c.tga is missing. I already followed the tutorial in this youtube video and he dont even crash https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCQUql-WkXk&t=556s. I already searched the forum about the c.tga but I still have no clue whats wrong with my mod

    I really hope I can get some explanation and clue because im in love with this game eheheheh

    It's not the first time we see this error but no definitiv solution was found. You have to check the mesh, the mapping, the mtl and the structure MODEL --> LOD-->GROUP -->MESH.

    Dankeschon! The problem is on the Material and now it solved. I tried to make a cube and then check the mtl file, the material map wasnt written there
