Third part of the Spanish Signal pack: the unified modern RENFE signals, introduced on early 70s and used until present day. This system, created as a updated of the 1957 one, became the most used models in Spain, as a replacement of the early MZA and NORTE signals. As basic, the signal has 3 lights (Green-Red-Yellow) plus a Override lamp(White) for Slow Clear orders.
From this base, the signal is adapted for every possible use:
-No Red lamp for Distant Signals(also no White disc):
-No Yellow lamp, for Departure Home Signal:
-No Green lamp, for Entry Home signals:
-Red and White signals, used as tall Shunting signals:
-Only Green lamp, for Far-Distant signals:
-Only Yellow lamp, used for Reversed-movement signaling:
For these signals, specially for Home signals, there are several accessories, such as Switch indicators, with a lot of variants:
Also Alphanumeric screens are available, for temporary speed limits(12=120km/h):
Also a lot of short Shunting signals are provided, with several models:
Early 70s Ericcson model:
Also special variants are available, such as Gantry signals:
Or the Rail crossing signals:
Or the BCA signals, adapted for the use on High Speed lines since 1992(White=Clear):

Today I bring you another truck project, this time a light truck, the EBRO B series, based on Ford Thames models.
Since the mid-1910s Ford had factories based in Spain and Portugal, branded as "Ford Motor Iberica" but after the Spanish Civil War and WWII, the Spanish dictatorship reached an agreement with Ford to buy their plants based in Spain(located in Cadiz and Barcelona).
Then in 1954, "Ford Motor Iberica" was split in two, "Ford Lusitania" for Portugal and the part sold to the Spanish government, that got renamed "Motor Iberica". But this agreement, also included that the Spanish brand should keep using the Ford patents and also remain in production the Ford models that were in production at that moment.
This way, Motor Iberia became a brand oriented to industrial vehicles(since the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, Ford ended the car production) keeping the Fordson tractors and the Ford Thames light trucks in production. Motor Iberica needed a new brand name to commercialize those models, so they decided that if the Ford truck was named "Thames" due to the British river, the Spanish-built models should be called "Ebro" in reference to the largest Spanish river.
So finally in 1955, the Tractors got renamed as EBRO A (but the "A" never appeared in the vehicle), and the Thames trucks were presented as EBRO B series. It was presented in two versions B35 and B45, according to their max load.
Now some pics of the model:
B35 with factory-built universal bay.
The B35 remained in production until the mid-70s (with very few modifications), so these little trucks became a classic on Spanish roads for almost 4 decades(including the Ford production period), even when the C and D series were released. But also the B-series became a model widely used in towns, with very special versions, adapted to be used as a delivery truck, like the "Bottle trucks", used to delivery Soda, beer, milk and others.
Here a long chassis B35 adapted to carry soda bottles:
The NORTE Catalonian stations pack is now available as Early access on Patreon. On two weeks it will be released on Steam: https://www.patreon.com/jorgenb96_tf2_mods?fan_landing=true
Second part of the Spanish SIgnal pack, This time the evolution of the unified signals. Starting by the Late NORTE signals introduced by 1939, but 2 years later, these models where adopted by the new RENFE as unified electric signals.
1940s Short home signals, used inside stations and rail yards.
1940s Signal for electric trains, blue light acts like a red light, but only for electric locos and units.
In 1957, Renfe agree the European agreement for rail traffic, changing the classic Spanish light code (red-green-white) by the modern European one(red-yellow-green). Also the signals got uptaded, simplifying the model, and changing the light code:
1950s Home signal
1950s Distant signal
Also during 50s other systems were introduced, like the CTC signals (Centralized Traffic Control) using North American patents from the GSC.
1950s CTC Main signal.

Is there a chance you would also include Dutch plates?
If you can show how a 70s Dutch plate looks like, of course is possible.
In the next weeks, the Renault R12 mod will be updated, adding the 1979 TS model. Also an option to choose the plates by country(choosing between France, West germany, Italy and Spain) will be added:
Also I will prepare some service vehicles using the model:
Barcelone Taxi:
Bilbao taxi:
Madrid Taxi (livery before 1985):
Guardia Civil (road division) patrol:
And more models are planned.
Great! I love them and often use your trucks!
Have you already thought about making some circus trucks and trailers?
I dont think so ![]()
