More vehicles inspired on actual Herpa models. A new 6x4 chassis and for the cab this version has windows on the rear side.
Also I'm finally including my wood transport dolly; made that over 2 years ago already on my first version of my Scania 3, but it never made it to a release so far.
In this series of Gold and Brown trucks, which Herpa made as promotional models for DAF, also some solo trucks were included, so more to is come.
I think the truck your dad drove was an earlier version of the truck, judging on the logo and the side wheel covers. And probably there were rear windows in the cab as well or not? So it will want a few small adjustments on my current truck. Do you perhaps have a few more photo's?
The first livery for the DAF is almost done. It's inspired on a Herpa model (#827100) and looking in my Herpa archives there are many more I want to include, will keep me busy for a while

Yes, the horn event is the solution, I'll admit it came to mind already when the update was announced but simply is something I haven't gotten to do. If you have the sound files also for UK and NL vehicles I will happily adopt them into the mod.
In this case it's a known issue, but it at least doesn't cause sims to just walk into it randomly. My main reason for using the capacity settings is that without these you won't be able to change the settings once placed. For the same reason my vehicles have a capacity setting, but deliberately no lane (the asset capacity setting in many cases provides hidden features ssst ).
It corrects the blink light for the German Taxi, again thanks KoA for notifying, and since I wanted to create the above image I also added Left & Right blink light settings to the asset.
Wonder if I can challenge you to make a nicer image of the T3 Taxi from KoA being brought in for service
Having cleared these from the to do list there is room to progress on a next project. I'm not yet sure which, probably another 80/90's truck, but maybe also the Faller Autohaus ... will see
If I do get you right you mean the order parameter in the *.con? I would stick with your solution. It will be correct in your asset group an what happens if someone searches over all assets is just random luck (you never know what other modders use).
A question; for my mod assets I'm using the order parameter to ensure the models are decently sorted, using my TpFid and a sequence, therewith e.g. all T3's will be nicely ordered after each other starting with the base mod. I do admit that I kind-a find it annoying this causes my mods to be sorted before mods that do not use any order in the asset menu. So I wonder what you think, should I keep the ordering or should I ditch it?
It's so great and reminds on the German TV series "Auf Achse" although they drive Mercedes and Volvo. But nevertheless the Iveco looks kind of similar and ... yeah, simply reminds me of that series of my childhood.
Thanks!
The "Auf Achse" I now best from the models Herpa had on those, when I get the right trucks I will definitely include them :). I estimate you've probably also seen the Dubai Road Express vid that is on YouTube,

, I found the Iveco a bad replacement for the original Scania and the 143 is a bit to new, but it is inspiring The 12.2m (or 40ft) trailer does fit the trailers from that time (70-80's), so that I have, I "just" need some more trucks .
