Possible yes, planned no. A camper van is also still on the whish list. For now I'm first upgrading the existing ones and adding a few details and paints.
But perhaps when that's done I'll do more drastic version changes again. At the moment the dispatch pack is being worked on.
I've added a Belgium and Swedish variant. And having the extra lights from the Swedish version I've also added these on the 'Audi sport' one with a Hella cover.
You can resolve that in two ways, either set the availability of the characters to 1848-1849, or remove the meta data elements, I don't think you need any metadata on the characters here :).

The asset for the new T3 is going to work much alike the asset in the car pack. So one asset to offer all 4 variants in all the base colors, the branded and dispatch will have their own asset menus.
And it features an add-on from my whish list, an imperial;
Raised roof is on the to do list for a camper van, but that may be a while.
ADAC & Profile Tirecenter/DAF T3's are also painted now.
So tomorrow on to adjusting the assets.
Hah! That fish van definitely made me laugh! What is it about all those greek/turkish guys buying a rather "shabby" van and trying to sell "fresh fish" in the middle of a big city.

nice, however just FYI Simonis is one of the most renomated fish stores in The Netherlands, located in Scheveningen (The Hague) since 1880.
Oh and PS I just added a roof-fan so the fish stay fresh 
Adding a few more liveries to the T3. For local business I'm adding; "Fleur's Flowers", "Cafe Amber" & "Simonis" fish.
Also adding vehicle road services, "ANWB", "ADAC" and ???, on the latter thinking DAF or Profile tyre service.
PS the "ANWB Wegenwacht" ahs reflective stripping

I can certainly take a kick at that. If anyone else has a specific country and license plate number format, please post it here.
My idea is the option upon selecting the mod where one can select the country for the license plates on driving vehicles (not AI traffic).
For the assets I think everyone is very happy with our current achievement in the 90's car pack, so that I aim to repeat for the T3 assets.
The T3 is really looking better with the smoothened meshes and roof detail :).
I'll probably divide the packs a little different, at least thinking about it.
If someone willing and able to help with a mod install menu to select the desired license plate country, then please let me know.
Maybe just a check-box in the overviews to include/exclude the off-topic threads in general ?

Yes that should be possible. You'll want to make the character mesh a child of the crane (cabin).
On my DAF55 the tail lift has animated lights that are child to the platform.
just a side step, or step back actually, I'm also improving the VW T3.
It took some time to get the UV maps matching the old ones (I hadn't saved the blender files). Where needed the meshes are now nice and smooth
It looks very promising. Adding characters is easy.
You can use the vanila sims, basicly all you need to do is change the animation you want to forever.
So if you want sitting, then change that to forever in your character mdl file.
You can also copy the characters definition from its original mdl file to include it in your asset mdl .
Personaly I also remove the animations I'm not using to not have obsolte code.
For use like this you won't need any metadata for the character.
You can find examples in most of my mods, e.g. the crew features for the DAF 55 Fire truck asset.
Oh and of course, use your own file names and if you leave meta data prevent them to spawn by setting the available years < 1850

it will be a while, still selecting mods for the map.
Pehaps it's an idea that we would have smaller maps, maybe even really small, just for Schonbau, where you can fill a map in a day and don't feel the need to fill it all with eyecatchers and diversity.
Maybe map sizes of just a few hundred metres ... 
Now I can't mod such with my current skills, but if someone is willing and able I encourage you
Ok so just for understanding ... this is the possibility to set a shadow airport outside of the map where planes can bring passengers/cargo to and from?
That would be cool so finally those Concordes or 747's would make sense and you can get the planes filled up with people
Yes it is. I'm also stil testing it.
Beyond 100km distance no passengers are generated.
You can however get passengers if you place 2 remote airfields in the same direction and distance next to eachoter if one has residential and the other e.g. commercial capacity.
Also routing passengers from one 100km distant airfield via another in the opposite direction generates passengers.
