oberhausener68 Maybe it's my German that's lacking . But from your post I understood you'll only want to buy TpF3 when it comes at a discounted price. Now I assume that UG will stay within reason for their pricing and not charge into the hundreds of Euro's. So I expect when you put it in perspective of a price you'll pay per hour of fun the cost at a standard price will already be like less than 0.01 Euro/hour.

oberhausener68 If UG continues to deliver us a fantastic game, provides free updates and does not go the path that new content will be available only via paid additional DLCs I will happily pay full price.

I will not blame them might they choose to do like so many others and deliver new features only with additional charged DLCs, since commercially that is much more attractive for the software companies. But then it will be highly dependent of the frequency, quality and pricing of such DLCs whether or not I still am reluctant to pay full price for those. I hope though that UG will continue as they have.

Often it are small details that most players may probably never even notice that can make a modder happy. It already is sufficient that I know a feature is working.

Like here on the broadcast trucks, when the satellite is operational these ventilation fans are animated

I think the asset is now finished. A clean-up, mod description and catalogue remain to be done and of course the final testing.

There was a space in the asset for a last addition, I just hope I can still fit everything in the catalogue.

For the lift trucks I made a new pose for the man standing in the bucket, also a few cargo mixes for the box trucks are now added.

On the tow trucks I'm in doubt if I will include them for the cargo option, because A it will then be limited to vanilla cars and B it is looking to be quite some work. And manually placing any car on the load bed shouldn't be that difficult in game... what do you think, does it need to come in the mod or is manually placing ok?

The last batch of trucks are now also in the asset. I have decided though to postpone the airfield tanker trucks to a next pack, this pack will now count 135 vehicles.

The crew and cargo options are next to be added.

A next batch for the asset

"Molko" nice   VirtualComplication. For a milk truck a different tank and attachments will be needed, so maybe in a next expansion pack, this one has already more then plenty.

Working on the asset for the lift trucks now;

Ah, that explains, just now noted the same happened here.

When I find some extra time I should finish my Scania 143 in the Circus Stern livery...

Thanks for your ideas KozatPlays  Bahntroll . I'll have to see, the asset is quite full and I think I already have too many trucks to fit in a 20 page catalogue ...

Continuing on the asset the tank trucks and the tow trucks as well as the small freezers are added, that is +33 trucks

Meanwhile also the wrecker is taking shape, the crane is turnable, extendable (3 positions), tiltable (6 angles) and it has 3 variants for the cable and hook. The studs extend on one or both sides, if both are extended, they also raise the truck. The tow fork has 6 different positions. There are no animations for the crane or tow fork for the asset.

You can randomize the characters that show with listing the various mdl's in the Models tag of the cargoSlotProvider, see: https://wiki.transportfever2.c…opics#custom_cargo_models.

The randomization is somewhat limited though, the random seed is defined when the cargo type is loaded for the first time. Later it only changes when another cargo type is loaded. Hence loading the same cargo type for a 2nd or 3rd time gives you the same models as the first time that type was loaded.

For the tank truck also an 'open' version is in progress. The man holding the tank pistol is mostly standing still, only his right arm and head are animated.

The asset thus far, 55 trucks are in, another 70 or so to do;

The box trucks and curtain siders are in the asset, now working on the open and tarpaulin versions. For the latter I've decided to add the option to open the tarp (right side only) for the assets;

The first time I encountered it was on your Mobile crane, since that works on your machine there must also be a local factor involved. It's definitely not a simple limit on max number of meshes/tris/groups or such. Probably a combination of multiple factors.

Zitat von PeterLustig

Hm.....I don't get it. Probably must study it more. I see "red" or "blue" trailers and somewhere below the cargo, but also random cargo and on top it's also random.....first time it's too complex for me.

ah, yes with random truck/trailer selection you can't pick the cargo. So you'll need to select (truck&) trailer specifically

Zitat von PeterLustig

Hmm...I am currently struggling with your flatbed trucks and their cargo. I really do not understand how to explicitely select a certain cargo type (e.g. Schienenbus) instead of only having random cargo.
I tried all settings, but cannot find a way to have the truck load what I want. 🤔

uhm, it should be fairly simple. The only thing with the trains is that they need a Nooteboom trailer to be loaded on, they don't load on the standard 4axle flatbed.
