Sorry the photos are in such poor resolution. This was from a trip to Alaska we made in 2001, and my camera could have been better.
We arrived in Anchorage, toured the city for a couple days (my brother lives there and is an Alaska State Trooper). We then drove up to Fairbanks, stopping at Denali on the way to see some of the beautiful National Park scenery. Stayed in Talkeetna overnight. Left in the morning for Fairbanks.
We spent a day in Fairbanks seeing the sights. The next day we attended a wedding at the Chena Hot Springs Lodge. Part of the reception party was celebrated in the hot springs, where we sat in the water, sipping champagne, and enjoyed the Northern Lights.
We woke the next morning EARLY for our return to Anchorage aboard the Alaska Railroad. It was an all day trip.
