  • Hello Train Fever enthusiast. I recently started working with Train Fever so I'm a noob when it comes to the inner workings of this game. I started by making a custom map of my local area. Today I installed the Nordic DLC and I was very impressed by the trees and textures of this mod. I did notice however that there seems to be a problem with my custom map now. My river textures are split and I can't figure out how to correct this. This only seem to happen with the Nordic textures. Is there a way to fix this?

  • Sadly, you can't correct this compleatly. This is not caused by nordic textures and only happens on complex coast structures. It Looks like the Water is made of lots of smaller parts not fitting perfectly together. Maybe These glitches are easier to see with nordic textures because they are lighter than the original ones. Maybe rised visibility is also caused by new shaders.

Only for Testing you cn remove the small Island in the river. Glitches then should be removed.Or try DarkMos suggestion below :)

  • You can indeed try to fix this. The river is just to flat. Open your heightmap, lighten it up a bit, so your river-black gets a bit grey (and the riversides get brighter too) ant then "redraw" your river to pure black. When you do it right, you should get a nice waterline at the riversides :)

Thanks, I'll give this a try and report back later.
