The Gas station, first texture is done. Next as retouched screenshot of it. Why retouched? Because I like that, but everything you see is from ingame, but
I like to give it a vintage effect because it is A. fun and B. honing skills. Without further ado:

The gas station was designed by Dutch architect W.M. Dudok as a special assignment from the ESSO company. In total 112 were built, as far as I'm aware only

in the Netherlands. Nowadays almost all are gone, perhaps 2/3 remain and those are preciously protected.

This "little" project started when I was kinda complaining against Grimes that I lacked a good vintage gas station to use as diorama for the "promotional" shots

I take these days. I had one, but that needed some remodelling to look proper. Grimes graciously offered some help and asked what I needed as "Seule" and I

gave this "Dudok" station as example. He was instantly intrigued and so it came to be. For me the Dudok design is something iconic for the 50's in the Netherlands

and perhaps more accurate archetypal for the design of the mid/late 50's. However it may be, it will suit any game that loves some 50/60/70's vibes.

However, I'm going to do some sacrilege. I'm going to add fictitious textures of other well known brands of the time, so it will suit nicely with the first expansion
pack of Grimes' Magirus-Deutz Pluto.

Progress continues, the first pack is being finalized and the first expansion pack is well under way:

The texturing is done for this pack, some more eyecandy from ingame (although a bit of editing in the shop of course):

Well, about time I posted something again on the forum. At the moment I'm quite busy making the textures for Grimes his beautiful Magirus Pluto, to give a small taste of what's coming:

These are just two variants in weathered condition. All usable trucks will age and of all variants assets are provided in clean and weathered states for all the Schönbau purposes you could imagine. After the first pack is released, which contains one livery of each variant and is mostly themed on the original Josef Wiechers skins, additional packs will follow with their own unique and most of the time realistic themes.

At some time mate, but unfortunately the predictable real life issues are consuming a lot of my time. Unfortunately the Corona-countermeasures give me a lot of (unpaid) work. So, at the moment everything is on hold unfortunately. But it will come some time.

Well, finally @Grimes has joined the fatherhood, so I've got a fellow "Leidensgenosse" in the fold. I already got 3 little terrorists running around - well, the youngest is 5 months old, so not much walking there - but he drools like a champion. To congratulate the man I've absolutely spammed him with V200 repaints that were converted from TpF and will be included in the original mod:

I'm done with green, the more older I get, the more red my face becomes. With green I look a pear with a sore on it.
