Both flying junction and road extension are updated to 1.17
Main improvement is about terrain and collision detection.
I have added 90° in the angle option, but the real 90° is non-trivial, so it's actually 89.95°

It's about the track gauge, and well the other parameters you can set in a track config file.
(there seems to be some mods that have different heights above ground).
The gauge is not important for this kind of mod, I have never paied attention to this. the heigh above the ground is meanful to platform and catenaries but I think it's all it can be about.
The important thing is getting the total width of the track since too close leads to colission failure while to far leads to fences on bridges.
Yes, outer part, middle part and about the track model. For the track itself that should work around for all to strange track types, because you can create but also quite track types that scale lost me out with easy in the width.
Most track mods has a standard 5m width, far as I know.
Thanks, I have already talked to Grimes a few days ago and it will be updated in a few weeks.
On depending how he calculates the terrain, it's generally not hard work and could be done in several minutes or hours
A narrower wall may be appreciated.
I think now the terrain can be improved by ground_tex “hole”
The game created virtual nodes on switch to mark their boundaries, which prevents of making a 3 way switch

Lässt sich auch eine Dreichfachweiche umsetzen? Die könnte ich des Öfteren auf Betriebswerken und/oder auf Rangierbahnhöfen gebrauchen.

Impossible with this game, have tried it.

I don't know specifically how the figures are with LUA and C++, but usually, calling a native function in a scripting environment has an overhead which will not justify the calculation time of any sort of math.
that depends the architecture of your binary lib and how you designed the memory layout for the communication, I have written a C interop lib with Tcl/tk for a calculate intensive project, the gain of performance was very significant.
Well yes. I am not sure if it's worth the trouble. What algorithm do you need?
These algo that I implemented in my mods, principally about the lines, circular arcs, matrix, quaternions and 2D/3D triangle projections, they are calculate intensive and with Lua it drags a lot
I think if I want to make a private algorithm binary library for the lua in Tpf I need to do 1 ~ 4 steps, correct?

CommonAPI uses a modified LUA Runtime (statical linked to the DLL/so) that can manipulate TPF Lua state.
I suppose for Windows dlls it's a Lua runtime that matches address of each function entry and Lua state of tfp.exe, and these address are statically manually analyzed, so for different versions you need to have do things differently? for Linux it should be easier since the OS exposes these?
The text on the board is the station name, you need to build the station in planner and before the final construction of it, I haven't tried to see if it can be changed after construction but you can have a try
What's the advantage of bin version?
----
OK, have check the previous posts, that's great.
Would be interested in how to link to the lua interpreter of tp under windows since there's no lua52.lib give so the one from tpf is private and static linked, and some other attentions need to pay for linux binaries, I have no experience with linux and only know their libs are called so
In the next update I will try to give possibilties to have flexible undergournd entries
The transit track bug on triangle and half triangle station have been fixed in the update 12

Alles anzeigenThank you very much for your reference picture.
This also appears to be achieved by reducing the angle of the curve.
I have also considered this, but this is not suitable for the longer slash PATH, the vehicle will swing left and right. . .
Taking the time, I will try to use a continuous path point with a small spacing. . Try to make a slash PATH.

They are actually {{point, vector}..} groupes,
Use edgeutils to get a beter ones, they are in {point start, point end, vector start, vector end} group, use unit vectors as input you are always fine and you will be able to get converging paths. Remember if you find a S cuves, split them in two.
Don’t know...
Never been in Asia...
But they are very common in my neighbor country, The Netherlands...
There are some, but not very popular.
When I drove from Germany back to France in vacations, once cross Rhine, the nightmare of roundabout comes.
1.12
- Station built with planner has now a station name board on the platform
- Fixed transit track position error on triangle station and half-triangle station
- Fixed wrong train stop position on half triangle station when common part length ≠ 50%
- Added "Length Ratio A/B" option to Double Curvature Station
