yeah that makes sense, maybe you could take that texture that you put on there, then use it to replace the vanilla emissive texture? That way others wouldn't have that issue with lights being white.

hmm, even my mods are showing as just white meshs, what would you suggest for realistic headlights?
-
Hey looks like you responded to my comment but I was too late and comments were disabled. So, yes, looks head light issues?
-
Also, could you increase the largest scale of the pillar?
-
I just realized you said lets keep talking, sorry sir! Anymore bridges planned? I'd love to see some more typical american bridges
and the Nicholson Viaduct
And then the standard american bridge
-
Ah yes, that would be difficult to find i imagine. there however is an existing little joe, reach out to DailyAKI, he knows a guy at the Illinois rail museum who could take pics of the interior
-
Hey maik, I know a while back you were working on the little joe and it looked really good! Not sure if you lost it in HDD crash back in November, but I did find a schematic for it!
-
Unfortunately little progress. But it's on the list for this year

Haha do I hear santas sleigh?

I'm working on the UP FEF-3, thats coming along nicely but i paused it to finish my heavyweight series which are modular. If i can get both done by the holidays I'd like to make a polar express pack xD -
whatever happened to the GS series? hmmmmmm?

-
Most definitely will look into it. With almost 800 mods it would certainly be a nice feature!
-
Okay so if i uninstall the duplicates it should work?
-
Hmm I'll take a look at that problem! Regarding the speed, it is an older model so that's why the speed is lower, it was based on a 50s model I believe, not your modern flatcar. The capacity I threw in some random numbers but I agree it would be more realistic otherwise.
also just uploaded the e2 and some baggage cars as a bonus surprise for everyone. The skins are the UP, BN and NYC. I have some alluminum sided ones in the works. NA4U commissioned me to make some passenger heavies so I'll be making those too.

Hey there, trying to do the mod import but its not working. What are the dos and don'ts of using the mod list exporter / importer? Everytime I try to import a mod list it crashes the game. It only crashes when I fire up the load or try to activate or deactivate any mod. It freezes then crashes after 3 seconds
I get this error in the stdout: c:\build\transport_fever\steam\transport_fever_release\src\game\ui\table\moddataprovider.cpp:281: int __cdecl UI::GetNumActiveMods(const class std::vector<int,class std::allocator<int> > &): Assertion `std::count_if(modsActive.begin(), modsActive.end(), [modCount] (int n) { return n >= modCount; }) == 0' failed.
here's the file if you need more in depth details.

Hey everyone! Been busy, the bulkhead /pulpwood is almost ready for release. It's got custom loads of logs, planks, construction materials and steel. The E2 I've also been hard at work on, I've redone the nose because I just wasn't happy with how it came out last time. I'd like to have both of those released this weekend, with the black diamond to follow at least in the next few weeks. I've also been working on an E7 & E8 as well. I'm considering doing a freight pack as a break from the bigger projects. The next projects I'm working on next will be the GTEL "Big Blow" by Union Pacific, and the EL-2B by Virginian, a 6500hp dual electric locomotive. Depending on the progress and how easy those both are, it could be for either the TpF2 released or the TpF, timing is everything at this point.I will be retexturing the autoboxcar and adding the 8 door option for TpF.
-
From what I heard on the discord, TpF2 will have an FBX importer making it far easier to mod

Hey guys! I've been really busy lately. Sorry for not being around much but life happened.
I was unemployed for a while as I was going to school and was in the serving industry, things were slow. Well, that changed. In May I was offered an interview with Alstom Signaling, and in June I was offered the position. So I had to relocate and I started about 2 weeks ago. On the day I was supposed to start, I had a seizure and broke (not popped, like actually broke) my dominant shoulder, so I'm still in a sling. I can actually use it now, and being settled in my new place I've gotten back to modeling!
The E2, I never released because the cab was incorrectly scaled compared to the unit, and thus there were gaps between the windshield and cab interior. So that was where I left off in mid June. I have since corrected the issue, and it now needs retexturing sadly. However, it looks much better.I also rescaled the entire unit and the nose looks more prototypical.
The big news, the Black Diamond is actually very close to completion. In the mean time of all this, I have taught myself blender, and am very happy with the results. I restarted on the E7 and an E8, and it looks great.I've been wanting to do some smaller projects, like more American freight cars, but we'll see if that happens before TpF2 comes out. Hope everyone is enjoying the wait, and sorry for the lack of updates!
